Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte did not only beat all other Presidentiables to a pulp in Davao City, but the whole Region 11 at large. It was truly a show of force as Duterte went all the way, scoring over 1.7 million votes compared to Roxas’ measly 100k votes.

The Presidential Race was truly a landslide victory here in Region 11, but not only did Region 11 go all for Duterte, Vice President Aspirant Alan Peter Cayetano was also hugely supported gaining majority of the Vice Presidential votes in the region with over 1 million votes. Bongbong Marcos followed at around 400k votes.

This Show of Force in going all-out Duterte-Cayetano might backfire and put an LP representative into the Vice Presidential seat. Votes for Cayetano may have most certainly gone Bongbong Marcos’ way. As it stands, Marcos needs all the votes he can get as of press time, Marcos is trailing around 100k votes to Leni Robredo in the Vice Presidential race.

Nonetheless, the most important goal has been achieved as Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte is soon to take residency in Malacañang and thus be the first President from Mindanao.
