The all-girl dance group composed of Jessica Meñez, Czarina Jose, Krizia Duka, Lyza Torsiende, and Julia Mella from the Holy Spirit School, Philippines. Made the Philippine Folk proud in their very own way. These Pinay Teens where able to bag the first place in the High School Musical Dance Competition held at Disney Land Hong Kong.
The Philippine Team topped among all other Asian Contenders from Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong. The 6 weeks of preparation paid off, and this win gave the Philippines credits in the field of Arts and Dance. The the prize that they bagged was: a money-can’t-buy, once-in-a-lifetime experience to perform live with professional Casts in one of the latest park attractions at Hong Kong Disneyland, High School Musical: LIVE! In addition, they will have their performance and momentous win produced into a show that will air on Disney Channel across the region on September 21!
So guys, watch out for their performance on your favorite Teen Channel, Disney Channel!
