I’m currently composing this post live, here at the venue of the PBB Teen Edition Audition here in Davao City. I’ve been here for a pretty decent amount of time already, and I think you’re going to read this post later in the evening, even though I have already started writing it early on.
Upon my arrival at around 4 in the morning, I noticed a huge crowd standing in front of the main entrance of SM City Davao. I couldn’t believe what I saw, the crowd, at such early time. I learned that some of them have been around as early as midnight, and some even yesterday evening, just to be one of the first to be auditioned for the Pinoy Big Brother Clash of 2010. One of my friend is included in the list of early birds who has been here as early has 2 in the morning. I was also able to talk to parents, aunts and even grandmothers who are supporting their children in the quest to make it to Kuya’s House this coming April.
Some came from places as distant as Cotabato, others reside from places a bit nearer like say, Cabacan or Davao Oriental. The reason for them in joining PBB comes in many variants. Other see it as the chance to pull up their families way of life, some are up for something more specific, like sending their siblings to school; others are just having fun and are here for the sake of experiencing a Big Brother audition, ever.
It is now 8:30 in the morning, and the crowd looks impressive and enormous. I doubt that it, by any chance matches the attendance in Manila, but this is still something to be “wow”ed upon, especially to note that they are gathering around this place as early as this, and that on a School Day. There are even a few who are wearing their uniforms, I don’t know if they parents know that they are up for something else than school.
I’ll be continuing this post later, and will include a few pictures, but for now, I wish to leave it to this little note saying that I’m having pretty much fun talking to everyone here and finding out their reasons for being here. It’s been a decent eye candy too to look at many beautiful faces roaming around the parking lot.

I am very tired from the audition, not the audition itself, but the pre-disaster that took place. Haha. We had a blast at the event, yours truly and a handful of new people that I met at SM City Davao who were part of the ca. 4,700 teenagers who took their chance to land in Kuya’s House this coming April.
To be straightforward, I didn’t made it to the big brother house, but I have absolutely no problem with that. Many others, at the other hand do, and I can very understand them, especially those who came from places as far as Cotabato and other far away provinces. Nobody really wants to miss this chance, as for as long as you’re not taking it, you’ll never know if you may have made it.
At around 1pm in the afternoon, the line exceeded beyond my imagination, to the rear end of the parking lot of SM City Davao. I had a bit trouble finding a place for myself to insert in, but, how much more those way behind me? One thing was for sure, the people who came in the first had all the luxury and were able to take the audition relaxed, easy, and also comfortably. Unlike us, who were set for a late afternoon quick screening, who had to fight our way through to the front in order to get a number.
The Audition lasted full 3 hours longer than expected, at around 6 in the evening, if not, even later as I left around 6. I’ve seen a few of my classmates make it to the waiting list, and I don’t want them to win, but someone else to make it. HAHA.
In one of my next posts, I will include more information about the audition process as they are all uniform across all audition locations and dates. And I will also leave you with a few tips on how you could make it. I’m also in the process finishing a post in which I will feature interviews with some of the teenagers, and parents alike. Goodmorning.. 😀 am one og the Of them yesterdey. hahaha.. di ko alam ko magalit ba ako or maging masaya kasi naka experienced ko ang PBB teen audition 2010 clash… its was nice tiring.. 5 hours standing :D.. Comment lng ako sa mga quiestion ni Derik.. bakit ganun?? kala ko e-introduce mo ang iyung self.. :C im expecting na ganun.. galing pa ako ng Cagayan de Oro,, dumating ako kahapon ng 3:30am.. la pang tulog, i expected talga na makasali lang sa second sreening.. tsk tsk.. pero ganun paman.. i'd enjoy it.. til next tym.. 😀 "May Bukas pa"..

yeah! really i was one of the aspirants of pbb teen clash 2010 in davao! and it was so miserable but in the end it's so enjoy! love to be an housemate!

hello, im una, isa sa nag aud. salamat Kev, for posting. i felt bad for what we experienced but after reading your blog, nahuwasan akong kalag, abi nako kami ra nagpaka uwaw! mmm, so hello to those co 4,700 who auditioned.. ako yung naka white uniform na johnpaul may shades sino naka kita sakin sino na friends ko dito? how was my audition? – BAD i think, but its ok i gave it a shot anyway.
i lined up from 11, naka uwi 10PM? i remembered, sa pagsingit nako i met lots of cool warm friends… so, while we were lining, twas really HOT kay name gawas SM. and, BAHO sagol2x ilok, pawis or lubot tiil hangin. WORSE?! STAMPEDE! more than 10x, nanindog gud ako balahibo run kadomdom kay daghang in danger, then may nahimatay diba? uhhmm, 😛 sabi naman ng, isang friend ko, there was this little girl na sorbang… hehehe liit, di makahinga grasping for air, sabi 'tabang! tabang'! nya na daw laki sa iyang tapad ana pod 'mani! mani!' hahaha.
so when we were waiting for our audition na kay nakakuha sticker, me and my friends nag jam, sigeg katawa, and… nag dula truth or dare after nag chicka2. pirting sabaa bay, gipa sayaw pako tantataran chuchuru chut. or napoy revelations sa dare.. wow… grabe ka… tsk wow whew happy kaayo me…
so anyway, nag line up name facing direk, ika 4, 55++ me.. our situation was, pretend there was a 4 month old mom on our palm, what we do – action! so amongst most, we had ordinary like, hugging the mother, lullaby… usa ra sa among friend nakasulod pero taman ra 1st screening. sakita kaayo bay, sige god me ampo ika duha… nya ingatoon ra. so, while walking out so dissapointed and silent… nag stop kami lahat by this bench, and shared what we did.. to my surprise…
haha.. si, ok.. this is what they did.. si jerich – kinausap niya daw yung mom nya sa palm, tas nag 'close open, close open' hahaha. (edi namatay mama nya!) haha. si Jason naman daw, tumalon with the mom sabi ' JUMP! JUMP!' waahaha. yung isa naman, si Gil, sinasabi sa mom ' uy, tawa na siya, uy.. tawa na siya' wahaha.. hay nako nako..
pero GUYS, lam niyo ba sino pinaka PANALO
oh eto share ko sa inyo, ehem, hmm.
may narinig daw isa sa friend namin, katabi nila or sumn, lam niyo ginawa niya sa audition? eto, eto sinabi niya ' inaay? nakita niyo ba ang nanay ko? naaaaay, aasaan ang nanay ko!' wahahhaha ano yon sisa? lang ya ahahaha…. wwwooow! ohmygudnes! YOURDABEST! hahaha
kaya yun, tas pumunta kami lahat sa bhouse ko, dun kami nagkakilala, til the other day.. sobrang special, kase, blv it or nnot, nagkaiyakan kami bidding our goodbyes.. after saying our message to each other. sabi nila, dun sila naiyak sa isang speech sinasabi 'guys, lam nyo, di man ako nanalo, nakapasok sa bahay ni Kuya, nanalo ng house and lot o 1 million, sobrang more than panalo na ako, kase itong friendship na nangyari sa atin, di ko to ipagpapalit more than anything in the world, kahit 1 million – 1 million lang ah? haha' so aeun
sobrang DA BES ang audition sa PBB. yun ang nangyari sa amin, ano sa tingin niyo? diba ok? 🙂 congrats ah, good job sa nag audition, lam niyo saludo ako sa inyo coz, it takes more than yourself to be on that situation.
hehe nga pala, after i read some of the comments, ay whattt…. kala ko pareho tayo ng ibang situation, what? may binigay si Direk Lauren na tumubo buhok sa, ILOK? seriously! HAHA! og. piso nga ganahan mulupad??? HA? ahaha. ok, maybe, what happened to us wasnt as worse aas yours my gudnes. hehe

hehe..ganyan naman talaga yan..ako nga naisip ko kong bakit pinag pipilitan ko sarili ko sa mga auditions..e ang gusto ko lang naman ay mag perform sa maraming tao..e nasakin na pala un..di ko napansin..kaya na realize ko na ang pinakagusto ko ay nasa akin na no doubt…i dance everywhere and sing some lines but i never show it to the crowd..but ill make sure to show it when somebody will ask me to do so..dati inaayawan ko kasi ang liit lang nang utak ko nun ang palagi nasa isip ko ay gagawin ko lang yon sa pbb house pero naisip ko na e share ito sa lahat ng taga amin//heheh..by this summer ill be having a lot of preparation for the upcoming invitation from different places for our group to perform..and if somebody will ask me to sing then ill show it to everybody para di sayang yung isa ko pang talent which is singing..hehe
I'm one of the auditionees, pero dito sa manila. Bali 2 times ako nag audition yung first dun sa big brother house sa tabi ng pda. To be exactly sa PDA CONCERT HALL or the activity area. Tinanong lang kami ni direk, then he was looking at me that time, nakakatakot sya tumingin, i have the gut feeling na sa batch namin ako yung napili nya. kaso tinanggal ko na agad yung sticker at diretso labas. Hehe the next audition was held on Rizal Stadium, pina act naman kame this time, pero hindi talaga ko nakuha. Kasi di naman ako nag act, sa batch namen direk lauren chose 2. 1 boy at isang lesbian. Parehas ko pang katabi hehe, sa mga hindi nakuha don't worry guys. Dami pang big brother auditions, just keep the friendships na nabubuo sa pila, yan ang pinaka the best na mangyayari sa TOTOONG BUHAY.
Hmmm…sana magkaroon ng audition sa Zamboanga…sayang pa naman…kahit experience lang choks na yun…ehe////kaloka ata yan…yung mga my old gru,py mom sa palm,kesyo..dramahan..well,dapat diyan.bigay todo…kasi isipin na lang natin yung mga nakasali sa pbb ay gnawa din nila yun..so kung baga isa sila sa nakapila or kabatch niyo..hehehe…well…nice yung stories niyo… sana galingan na lang talaga…
