11 Filipino Athletes will compete during the 2012 Olympics in London. Let’s learn more about each member of Team Philippines for the 2012 Olympics.
First off, it’s good to know that the Philippines made history in 1928 by being the first Southeast Asian Country to win an Olympic Medal. The medal, a bronze one, was courtesy of Teofilo Yldefonso in swimming.
The Philippine Olympic Team has since won two silver Olympic Medals in boxing, and seven bronze medals coming from athletics, swimming and boxing as well.
