While the Philippines is still in hunt for its first Gold Medal at the Olympic Games, South Korea on the other hand is eyeing a total of 10 gold medals at this years Olympics 2012 in London.
South Korea has finished under the top 10 in 6 of the past 7 most recent Olympic Games hitting a record high 13 gold medals in Beijing in 2008. Looking ahead to the Olympic Games 2012, South Korea is determined to get another 10 Gold Medals and finish within the top 10 countries once more.
The pack aiming to make it possible are more or less 370 South Korean athletes who will compete in 23 sports in London.
Leading the pack of South Korean Olympic Games Athletes is no other than Park Tae-Hwan who picked up South Korea’s first swimming gold in the recently concluded Olympics 2008.
