SE k750 po gamit ko ok nmn. kya lang paminsan minsan nageeror bigla (cant read from socket, IOException, etc), pero ok parin 🙂
pero problema ko po ung downloading. kc pag nagddl ako ng say pics, naddwnload nmn successfully, kya lang pag titignan k na ung pic 0x0 pix nmn tas less than 1kb pa (900+bytes lang ata).

@Beau – You need to install the Opera Mini 2.06. It will not work on other versions. Basta version 2 lang siya magwowork. Actually the version 2.06 is a Russian hacked mod of Opera Mini. Ok nga kasi may tabned browsing unlike sa Opera Mini 3.1, 4.1 and other versions.
@hackarowny – It should work on Sony Ericsson K750i. Check mo ulet ung settings. Make sure that 2.06 ung version ng Opera Mini. Eto pa ung isang settings na kailangan mo tingan. Make sure that the checkbox labeled “Reset of a server at an error” is unchecked. It should always be [email protected]:80.
@K750er – Yah, minsan may error pero ok na rin. It depends kasi sa connection kung malakas ang signal eh. Hehehe! Me too, I have problems when downloading. Laging error din eh. Ayaw makumpleto ung download pero nakakapadownload naman ako kapag default browser ng phone ko ung gamit ko.

@watzupfoo – Sa settings lang po ang problem nyan, try to look for the Connection Security option sa Internet Profiles or Data Communication settings. Try to turn it off or you can also check the Permissions for the Opera Mini program. Check the options like Local Connectivity or Allow Internet Access. I’m not sure on the exact option but most likely ganon ang mga options. You can try deleting all Internet Profiles then re-download it. Actually for the Opera Mini Network Settings, the most Important settings to change are Shadow Connect that should be checked, Address to Connect which is http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp but you can change it to any site but the best one to make sure is http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp, then the Opera Mini Server which is [email protected]:80, and lastly the Reset of a Server at an error na dapat ay unchecked. The Server, Port, Username and Password options ay pwede ng blank kasi unchecked naman ung Additional na checkbox dapat eh.
Guys, update for the settings: You can leave the Server and Port blank kasi unchecked naman ung Additonal checkbox eh. Make sure that the “Reset of a server at an error” checkbox is unchecked kasi babalik un sa 80.232.117.10:80 kapag may error kaya dapat laging [email protected]:80 ang Opera Mini Server.

You can try installing the application on your N6020 and if it will successfully install, configure it. But I think it will not work eh. Basta try mo lang then follow the settings. Read the thread also kasi may mga updates sa settings.

Step 1: Select the download link from the site you are visiting (this may be a pic, or a link to a file). Important, the link must be a direct link to the file. Ung tipong pedeing i-right click tas “save link as” pag sa PC.
Step 2: Press 1 on your phone (shortcut po ito ng download)
Step 3: Edit the URL (eto po ung nagpapakita ng download link)
Step 4: Delete the “www.” of the URL and replace with “wap.amob.com@”

@noize – Sabi meron daw. Nabasa ko sa ibang forums na meron daw. Tinry ko iconfigure sa Smart kaso nagbabawas din eh. Actually same configuration din sa Smart. Palitan mo lang ung address to connect ng wap.smart.com.ph, then start browsing if piso na lang load mo. Ilang oras ka din makakapagbrowse tapos magiging zero balance ka na ulet.

@rouie – Download mo lang ung Opera Mini Mod 2.06 or Opera 8.65 tapos i-bluetooth mo lang sa phone mo or gamitin mo ung USB cable mo. Tapos configure mo lang ung network settings. Follow mo lang ung steps.

You know guys nakita ko din itong post na to sa dotsis.com, parang cinopy and paste lang. Hindi ko alam kung sino ang original pero I think ang original nito eh ung nasa dotsis.com. @pipit – yah i know that om4.1 by aed. he just edited the server settings on the jar file ng opera mini 4.1, wla naman cya pinagkaiba dun sa original opera mini in terms of the app itself, just the functionality of connecting to the internet for free. actually, i also created a mod version of that and it works on both smart and globe. i haven’t uploaded it publicly.

@DenneBean – Actually i’ve already downloaded version 2.06 before but my T630 notifies me that it won’t run in my phone. And it recommended the 3.0. Finally 3.0 runs but couldn’t connect to the internet, can’t use google and can’t even find a website address, even if my globe browser is doing fine.
Every time after I type a URL address or website address and perform google search, a message apears saying:
iERROR
There was a problem connecting . There might be a problem with your network setup, please go to tools>settings and perform the connection test. (error: 3.0.4)
But after I did the connection test, a message appears again saying:
Failed to connect to the internet:
Go operamini.com/help with your web browser or contact your service provider for internet settings.
What should i do? I don’t even know how to contact my service provider for it. I can fell that Globe is blocking my access……grrrrrrrr! Help me guyz pls….
@frank – actually normal ung error message na un kasi hindi talaga stable connection ng globe. maganda kung malakas ang 3g signal palagi.

Yup still works. Pero wag lang kau magsurf pag may lod kau kc bumabawas na ng lod ngaun. Pero kahit less than 5 ang lod nakakapag surf parin.

guys.. di ako makpag download ng file using opera mini (pero nkakapag surf ako) my phone is k750i
here’s what i did:
1. un nga, sinunod ko yung steps sa taas, (palitan ng wap.amob.com@ ung sa first part ng name ng file)
2. sa ilalim, may check box, – auto determine flename (ano to? should i put a check on this ba?)
3. under that checkbox, meron nkalagay na save as.. and then C:/file.php (so may kelangan ba kong palitan dito?)
4. and then nung click ko ung menu and then download, at first, nag loload xa, and then after about 3 seconds, may magpopromt– “allow application to read user data?” –> i clicked yes
eto pa: “allow application to write user data?” –> i clicked yes again
and then ERROR. : java.io.IOException errcode=2
so i have no choice but to click copy or back.
so please help me on this.. 🙁
@hackarowny – Try mo palitan ung save as location mo to your external memory. Saving to C:/means your saving to the root of your phone memory. Try to save it in your E:/ drive (K750i din gamit ko, e drive ung external memory ko, might be different sau)
Note: If you get the “allow application to write user data” prompt before the connect progress bar reaches 50%, it means it is successfully connecting.
If the prompt appers way beyound 50%, baka mahina signal mo.
Lastly, kung .php ung file extension ng dinodownload mo, ibig sabihin you are downloading the web page, not the file (unless ung web page talaga gs2 m idwnlod, ehehehe)

Hi guys, it’s nice to be back here. Hehehe Opera Mini mod v2.06 parin ba ang ginagamit nyo? @trick pa rin? Hehehe. Free Internet na sa Globe as of now using myGlobe INET. Working cya sa default browser and sa lahat ng Opera Mini versions like 4.1 and 4.2. Kung gusto nyo ng free video streaming sa YouTube and TinyTube, Smart ang gamitin nyo. I’m not using Opera Mini mod v2.06 anymore. I seldom use it as well as Opera Mini mod v3.10. I always use Opera Mini 4.2 Final version both on Smart and Globe.

it does not work, well i don’t think na kelangan pa yan. I can browse the internet on my phone using any browser for free, basta ang load ko ay below 5 pesos. Pag more than 5 pesos, kakaltasan ka ng 5 pesos for every 15 minutes… sino pa ibang nakaka experience nito?? well, ganyan sa kin eh..
