England was once again involved in yet another game with controversial refereeing decision, this time called in favor of them – it was such kind of decision that has cost the Ukraine a slot in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Euro 2012. This means that both host nations, Poland and Ukraine are out of the competition already at the Group Stage.
Wayne Rooney stepped up to make the decisive goal that put England through to the next round.
Quarterfinal Matches at EURO 2012:
Group A leaders Czech Republic will face Portugal of Group B.
Group B leaders Germany will face 2004 champs Greece of Group A.
Group C leaders and defending champions Spain will play against France of Group D.
