The Pinoy Teens Online / Philippine Teens Media community will attend the Mindanao Bloggers Summit hosted by our very own Iligan Bloggers this coming October 29-30, 2011. There’s a high possibility that I’ll be on my own representing the communities I write for, but that’s not set in stone yet.
Excited about MBS5 Iligan
I’m very excited about this event. It’s going to be my third Mindanao Bloggers Summit out of the 5 (including this one) Summits. The first one was held in Davao City. It was then brought to General Santos City in 2008, Cagayan de Oro in 2009 and Zamboanga in 2010.
I’ve been to both summits in General Santos and Cagayan de Oro.
One reason, aside from personal concerns why we decided that only one person will attend the summit from our 5-man Philippine Teens Media community is because of the expenses that might occur. We are very low on money at the moment and we believe one attendant to the summit will suffice for us to effectively write about it afterwards.
What makes me very excited about this years Mindanao Bloggers Summit is the fact that I skipped the one last year due to the same reasons which made us hesitate attending the 2011 rendition of the annually held bloggers summit of Mindanaoan Bloggers, financials.
If anyone is kind enough to shoulder our expenses for accommodation or knows some place where we could stay for dead cheap, then let us know!
UPDATE: We’ve found some decent and as well as dead cheap accommodation for MBS5 on their website. Just saying. Baka hindi lang kami ang nag-poproblema.
I’ll leave you with this little shootout for now. Letting our readers know that Pinoy Teens Online will be present during the 5th Mindanao Bloggers Summit in Iligan City.
Wow!
I hope I can join too! I'll see my schedule. Hopefully by 2nd week of October, I can decide.
Anyway, best of luck! Let me know how much will it cost for the accommodation so that I can spare some budget. 🙂

I linked to their page of hotels for accommodation above. Here: http://mbs5.iliganbloggers.com/uncategorized/acco… Pretty cheap. 😀
Hello! Please consider staying at our establishment, StayLite Suites. We're very affordable and close to the venue (San Miguel Village, Pala-o).
