Davao City’s finest blogging community is celebrating its First Founding Anniversary this July 29, 2017.

I am overjoyed by the fact the Davao Digital Influencers, Inc is turning 1. If you look back at the growth of the community, the vast influence its members hold over their respective niches and interests, you can’t tell apart whether this community has been existing for one year or ten. Being not just a member but an officer of Team DDI has been a great experience leaving me with great memories and bonding moments with our members.

Milestones for DDI are aplenty. Depsite being barely a year old, the group is one of only few blogging and social media communities in Mindanao to be SEC registered. Not just that, the Davao Digital Influencers is also the official Social Media partner for the upcoming Kadayawan Festival here in this very city.

Now, how has Team DDI shaped and impacted me as a blogger?

I’m not new to all this. I’ve been at it for about 10 years, blogging way back 2007. However, it’s only now that I’ve seen people being authentic and showcasing much gusto in being influencers in their respective fields of expertise and interests. Team DDI is a growing community, not just in terms of members, but in the sheer influence each and everyone holds. Basically, everyone in the group has his or her own little community to nurture where we reflect our being true influencers of Davao City.

Being member of DDI reminds me of the very reason that I started to blog, which is to inform, entertain and educate people. I intend to go back to this, and I’m looking forward to getting back into it right after our Acquaintance Party.
