It’s my honor to present to you a few pictures from the Philippine Society of Information Technology Students (PSITS) Meeting which was held at the Philippine Women’s College of Davao last Saturday, September 10, 2011.
Schools that attended the meeting include but is not limited to the Davao Vision College, DMMA, University of Mindanao, Cor Jesu and the Ateneo de Davao University.
On the meeting a lot of things got tackled, most which still concerns the team building which is scheduled for the coming weeks. We also talked about the upcoming Software Freedom Day 2011 hosted by the Ateneo de Davao University on the 17th of this month.
Hosting such occasion was one of the first activities done on our own campus for the Information Technology Society of our school, known as BITS.
We were able to pull it off through the joint effort of the I.T community of the Philippne Women’s College of Davao, including the teachers, and the weekend and regular college students.
With this I would also like to acknowledge that the Pinoy Teens Online / Philippine Teens Media community is in full support of the Philippine Society of Information Technology Students and aim to contribute in whatever way possible for the common good of the organization. This includes, but is not limited to the promotion of events that member schools of the group host but sending in WordPress and Blogging speakers to events if they wish so.
