Pinoy Teens attended WordCamp Cebu 2024 in the form of yours truly, and my daughter, Yannah Claire. It was meant to be just the start of Pinoy Teens returning to action.
With that said, I am starting to publish content on this website again, mostly related to an advocacy of mine in line with Reproductive Health and Preventing Teenage Pregnancies. I have partner with some LGUs to give a talk about the matter at hand. While I honestly haven’t finished with the content just yet, some of the important pointers that I’ll discuss is how fucking expensive it is to have a child in the current economic climate. Not just that, but how devastating it can be to anyone’s career prospects, especially those less fortunate and barely coping without a child.
At any rate, I am really excited to share more about this endeavor in the next couple of weeks and months ahead. It feels like I have come full circle more or less, having started Pinoy Teens being a teenager myself and now, having slowly passed on the site to my daughter.
I know. She has yet to publish content, but we’ll get there! One step at a time.
For now, I just thought it’d be nice to share that — YES, the site is still up and running and will start seeing more content again! <3
