The Philippines has topped the chart once again, and once more, in a negative way. Not just Pinoys, but a good amount of Pinays have contributed to the Philippines ranking on the upper half of the nation with the longest visiting duration on a porn site.
This has urged the government to take immediate action on the matter. As of this writing, accessing many popular websites filled with scandals of not just Filipinos but from people all over the world has been limited. There’s kind of a loophole to this though, since it only takes someone to change his or her DNS in order to circumvent the immediate ban on these websites containing pornographic content.
It may not appeal to many people who spend a lot of time lurking around those websites, however, we at Pinoy Teens believe that it was a good call by the government of the Philippines. It will take much more effort though than just that to truly dampen the popularity and usage of pornographic material – especially content featuring minors. It is a good start, however.
