The South East Asian Qualifiers for The Manila Majors is well under way. The group stage of the said qualifiers has just concluded and here are the four teams advancing.
SEA Qualifiers Group Stage
In Group A, we have Philippines’ TnC and Execration finishing first and second respectively. Execration have been especially lucky, given that Signature Trust has lost 2-0 to The Mongolz in the last group game which sealed the runner up slot for them in Group A. Notably, the newly reunited Team Rave has done extremely bad in the group stage, finishing bottom of the group with merely 1 victory in hand – and that’s a 1-1 match vs Team Mongolz.
In Group B, runaway winner of the group was yet another Philippine representative, Mineski. Following Mineski into the Qualifiers Playoffs is Orange Taring from Malaysia. WG. Unity, who ended up on top of Group B at the end of day 1 of the Group Stage with all their games played had to bow out to Orange Taring, falling behind by just 1 point.
Up next, it will be Mineski playing their countrymen Execration and TnC facing off against Orange Taring. The dream of an all-Filipino SEA Qualifiers Final is still attainable.
