The first ever South East Asian ESL One tournament will be held in Manila, Philippines. Yes, you read it right, ESL One Manila will be played out this coming April at the Mall of Asia Arena.
Amidst the rise of South East Asian (and Philippine Dota 2), ESL One has decided to start their presence in the local scene with the Philippines.
One of the first major DotA 2 Tournaments in the region
ESL One Manila 2016 will be one of the first premium Dota 2 tournaments in the region. Not to take anything away from the Nanyang Championships that were hosted earlier this year, but this is ESL One.
To be expected is an arena full of DotA 2 enthusiasts, fans and players. It will be a great avenue to further boost the presence and popularity of a game that already has a huge following in the country.
ESL One Manila brings esports to one of the largest DotA 2 playerbases in the world on April 23rd and 24th. Featuring 8 international teams, a $250,000 prize pool, and an arena full of dedicated fans, the atmosphere in the Mall of Asia Arena for this two day esports event is sure to be electric. You won’t want to miss out on the region’s largest esports event to date!
