It’s heartbreaking, to say the least. I’ve never been up into the hype of the Philippine Azkals but this very game. They showed courage, played extremely well, but did not find the back of the net way too often. Add to it a ‘effin referee that saw over the game.

Unbeaten Siege at Home comes to end

The Philippine Azkals unbeaten run, dating back to 2006 has come to an end. The Azkals drew the shorter in an exhaustive, thrilling and highly competitive game against Kuwait for the second leg of the World Cup Qualifiers.

I feel sorry for everyone who’s disappointed with this outcome. I wonder how uneasy the feeling is for the players right now. Let’s hope we can do better in a local competition (AFF or so), and prepare ourselves for the 2018 World Cup.

The ball is round. We had our ups and downs and now it’s our time to suck it up and look up to the other teams in jealousy. Let’s exercise sportsmanship and not wish the other side bad luck in their coming games.
