SM CINEMAS won’t be showing Star Cinema’s Romantic Blockbuster hit And I Love You So due to ticket disputes that date way back to 2003 with the said company, which may mean that future movies including Sarah Geronimo’s 3rd movie, successor of A Very Special Love and You Changed My Life might also not be screened in SM Cinema‘s in 2010.

It is a brave move, many people say in recognition to Star Cinema’s unwise move (as they will loose 45% of total ticket sales with this), but still, it is of no doubt that avid supporters of Bea Alonzo and the other starring cast, not to forget the thousands of Filipinos who can relate to And I Love You So are going to watch it at alternative cinema’s owned by Robinsons, Ayala and other big names in their respective cities, just like in Davao, where NCCC-Mall falls in as a second option.

And I Love YOU SO not in SM Cinemas

Straight to the point now. I can’t judge if this move harms Star Cinema, but what I am assured of that it will harm this specific movie. It looks like there won’t be any Box Office Queen Crown for Bea Alonzo at the end of this year, and if ever the dispute comes to a resolution in the next couple of months, Sarah Geronimo will still end atop in her future outing.
