Now showing at the cinema nearest you is, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1. The start of a grand finale that we all will be witness of over the next couple of months until July, 2011. I won’t spoil you with this one, promise.
I took the initiative to have a day off at school last November 18, 2010 to head to my favorite cinema here at Nccc Mall Davao. Reason behind this was one person and one person only, Harry Potter. The enchantig story of the young wizard back then nears it’s end, and like noted “The End Starts Here“. It isn’t really ending with this movie released this 18th of the month, but it marks the fine start to a grand finale we all gonna witness in 2011.
I am no true blue Harry Potter fan, nor am I one of those kind of audience who will
watch this just for the sake to keep up with the latest. Say I just want to experience Hogwarts one last time. I have unknowingly been watching the Harry Potter movies ever since it’s inception from the book to the wide screen. It’s like paying tribute to a childhood companion.
Harry Potter (the movie, not the actor) has slowly grown close to my heart, the story, the places (and Emma Watson, lol). I’m sure that I’m not the only one who feels this way about this movie spectacle that has last for almost a decade now. I am very pleased that there won’t be any vampires bothering me today, but another 2 hours of reliving the life of Harry and being a witness to the end of his life time in the cinemas.
His time in the theaters will mark it’s end today, but the story, the memories and everyhing else you could relate to the trio from Hogwarts will be remembered for generations to come.
– I wrote this post while waiting for the movie to start here in the cinema on my iPod touch. More to come later.
Actually, there is still a part 2 on July 2011. But I'm sure everyone knows that. Can't wait for the second part! The first one was so "bitin".
