Who's your favorite DotA Hero?

DotA is undisputedly one of the most popular and addictive games in the Philippines, well, even in the world. I’m sure that whoever is playing this game prefers one hero over another. Sometimes different situations call for different hero types, but in general. Who’s who? Who’s your favorite DotA hero?

Alleria Windrunner tops my list

It may be a huge surprise to my high school clique that an Intelligence type Hero tops my list amongst them all. But Alleria’s game play is not far from that of an Agility type. The items needed (which of course vary depending on the situation) to make Alleria such a monstrous killer don’t differ much from any Agility hero but for one must-haves, the Butterfly which is a big “no, no”, when it comes to playing Windrunner.

What makes her so gorgeous for me
If paired teamed up with Crystal Maiden, she can be very annoying to the opposing side when you spam them with Powershots. (Crystal’s passive Mana Regeneration Skill will make the enemies life a hell), early game and as well as late game, she’s someone who you don’t want to face alone near a tree. If she does, feel free to shout GG inside the internet cafe. She can outrun enemies with ease, either hunt them down, or escape a dangerous situation with her windrun skill, but please, just don’t stun me. (her Con)

My Favorite Item Build:

• Boots of Travel (if alone) / Power Threads (if Team)
• Orchid Malevolence
• Buriza-do Kyanon
• Assault Cuirass / Shivas Guard (pick one which the team doesn’t has, else go for Cuirass if alone)
• Divine Rapier (just don’t get nailed or say goodbye to your money)
• Satanic

Enchantress ranks close second

Playing against 5 AI (-ap mode) is so easy with Enchantress. And even in team battles she can beat’em up with ease -without dying so often. Heal your party, or heal yourself, that’s what her third skill is all about. Though noted to be a support character, she can be the very offense of one team if geared properly. Here’s what she should have in my opinion.

• Butterfly
• Orchid Malevolence
• Vanguard  / Hood of Defiance (if there are many spell casters)
• Mjollnr

You might laugh at that very aggressive Agility-type build. But that’s the most perfect build I could think for her. Fast attack speed, matched with slightly improved defense + healing skill + 25% chance for lighting up 4 opponents = IMBAness, add to it setting your last skill to auto-fire, with the enemy already running away, you’ll surely nail 2-3 of those after the hero which will nail him and give him a shortcut home.

Good Old Bloodseeker

After graduating from the Stealth Assassin Days and moving on from the Juggernaut times, I’ve met Bloodseeker. My good old friend in times of war. He doesn’t do much in team battles, all he does is kill. Kill, whoever comes his way. Getting stunned sounds like chicken, being slowed, too, if you compare it to his ultimate. If the enemy doesn’t notice the buff you’ve spelled upon him, he’s certain to be dead on arrival rushing home. Or it may be the perfect skill to hold an opponent while waiting for your party to arrive.
