Resident Evil: Retribution is scheduled to be released in the Philippines this coming September 2012. Before we head to any trailer of the upcoming Resident Evil movie, let’s take a closer look at another video that Columbia Pictures has prepared for us.

The Legacy Video, titled “Alice’s Legacy” narrates the store of the whole Resident Evil series from the first movie up to the present, Resident Evil: Retribution giving fans of the series another chance to recall all events that took place in the series before heading to the cinema’s this September for Retribution. The Resident Evil Legacy Video also allows new audience to the series to be familiarised with the events that happened before. It wouldn’t be wise to head into Retribution without knowing what has happened in the earlier Resident Evil movies, is it?

Brief Overview of Resident Evil: Retribution

In “Resident Evil: Retribution,” the Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, Alice (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true.
