I had laid down way too many plans for 2010, half of which have utterly failed, whilst the other half has been left uncompleted. In terms of achievements and personal experiences, this year extremely sucked. But when it comes to the people who I have met this year and got in touch with, there’s no other year I’d relive, but this. From trustworthy personalities from Mjhae down to Xtelle to good friends like Janine Cerdena and Princess Salan.
I just don’t feel like myself this year. Most of the things that I’ve got my hands on failed, you could consider this blog as one of the flops of the year too. I wonder if it could get any worse in the year to come or if I’ll be able to bounce back from the graveyard.
I am thankful for all those great people that I have met this year. People I had never seen before, and the ones that I have been with me for some years already. Life is full of surprises, and this is probably the biggest surprise it had in store for me yet. Giving me great people at an unpleasantly wrong time. But what was that trademark motto of my best friend again? Everything happens for a reason, and it doesn’t matter what happens to you, what matters is how you react to what happened.
To be honest, I’m ending 2010 in tears. Certainly these are not tears of joy, but tears of anger, despair, regret and other sorts of negative emotions that go together with the ones listed. I have the confidence to say that I should claim a reward for what I’ve done in 2010, being the most unproductive person in the whole universe.
The pressure is on me now, not to maintain any 5,000 hits we used to have back those days, but to get back on track. It’s time to excel in class more, excel in blogging and other activities that I participate in. I want my parents to be happy. The more years pass by, the bigger the chance that one or at worst both of them will pass on. It’s definitely not wishful thinking that they’ll do (like some relative of mine would think of if she reads this), but it’s just that I need to prepare for such event to take place anytime soon.
There’s so much more I wish to emote about. But let me leave you with these thoughts as I’ll be moving on to the statistical data of 2010 for me.
PINOY TEENS ONLINE STATS
- We had about 150,000 fewer visitors in 2010 than we had in 2009.
- 700,986 as I’m writing this post (12:20AM) with about 47 hours and 30 minutes to go until 2011.
- It’s a pity, but there is no way for me to check how many comments we’ve received just in this year, but as far as I remembered we just nailed 10,000 comments during the closing stages of 2009. It’s safe to say that we have received around 4,500 comments this year.
TOP 20 Movies of the Year – Movies? Oh well, we had a lot of them this year. And I’m blown away by the thought that I have watched way more movies this year than I have done in my entire life. There have been a few bad cuts I glanced upon this year, but in general, the movies that came out this 2010 were okay for the average moviegoer that I am.

Once again, thank you for everyone who has journeyed with me this year. I’m very thankful to have had all of you, okay, to be honest most of you. You know who you are (it would take some time to list all of you here, you know?). Without you, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today. I’m hoping to keep improving myself and keep up whatever I have started and whatever I have planned for the upcoming year. You can expect a return of Pinoy Teens with a bang! I am delighted by the idea that there are some people who still believe in me, who don’t doubt me and expect me to do well; I accept the challenge as I try to continue what I have done a year ago and do it even better.
