It isn’t easy to choose the right people to lead our country, I tell you. Well, but it isn’t really right to go for Villar to lead us.
Everything can be done with the power of money. It is not a secret to all of us that Manny Villar is just another Filipino Billionaire. But this time with a different path, a path which not many tried to surpass, the road from an average Filipino to someone who is “known”, “rich”, and powerful to say. Senator Manny Villar really stands tall and proud among the few Filipinos who excelled despite the fact that all odds stood up against them.
But, do you think that, that is reason enough to vote for him to lead our country? Do you think that the “help” that he is offering is forever, and that it is right to “give” money to the people instead of showing people “how to get to money”? I’m not very sure if Villar’s ideal Philippines is anyhow close to what I have on mind. But basing everything on the advertisements, it is clear to see that his target are the poor Filipinos, and the OFWs. Pretty neat business if you ask me. If you can turn the OWFs to your side, then the people they leave behind in the Philippines are going to automatically be yours.
I know Filipinos are not that dumb. But desperate situations often require desperate measurements. Of course, someone as rich as Villar running for Presidency would be the ideal solution for our small time problems. Like rice for a couple of days, weeks, or huh, months; but that would seriously be it.
I’m not saying that he should stop offering his hard-earned money to the people. But I’m not suggesting that that’s good either. Like I have said above, we need a leader that teaches us to earn money, and not someone who will baby sit a whole nation of half lazy and half working people. We can’t deny that many of us are lazy, there are thousands of those who know not better but drink and drink and drink. A bit money out of the pocket and their votes are yours.
Improving our nation requires effort from both ends, the people and the leaders, and that is something that not everyone wants to know about. As most are just hoping for a cool President to come along and safe us from everything bad. Nah, nah, nah, that’s not gonna help you Philippines.
Let advertisements not blind you, and even if the upcoming sentences ain’t that true. Personally, any president will do. As long as he or she has never been involved into issues about money.

The person who spends much on his campaign (the above-mentioned has already overtook a popular burger chain's TV ad spending for 2009) in one way or another has to get back the money he has "blown"…
Seen his TV ads lately? "Tunay na mahirap…"? Hardly… May maraming pera sa kampanya? Definitely 😛 Madala na tayo sa mga pangakong kulang na lang sungkitin ang buwan at bituin, mga kabayan… To him, stick to real estate where his "magic" works best.

You said above that Sen. Villar should teach "How to earn money" than "give away it to the poor" right?
Well if you really closely following the Good senator you might've heard that in he's platform he included Entrepreneurship? that's teaching people to have their own business for them to be able to provide for their needs.
beside his spending on his infomercials are just his way of leveling the battlefield. No one knows Sen. Villar before this commercials.
And as far as i can see, he have this "LEADERSHIP" skill your looking for. how can he manage a huge corporation if he doesn't have that skill?

im not following senator manny's platform that well,but if entrepreneurship is included in his platform thats a plus for me. "Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime."
But i will completely disagree with you with the infomercials part. Honestly i think lots of people knew him before the commercials even started, remember the c5 controversy filed against him by senator lacson? or the double insertion controversy?
And by the way i think the real estate company is already there before he got married to congresswoman Cynthia Villar.
and i guess hearing and seeing is better than the defining promises and the blinding infomercials.
Villar isn't a good quality leader, he is even endorsed by actors who doesn't have good moral background as well. same feather flocks together. the rightful president for our country is someone who is godly man (Eddie Villanueva), not religious like our president right now which is a hypocrite. Our country have been fooled by many religious priests, cardinals, etc… they defy the teaching of the bible truth. they only teach verses that would benefit them.

I read an article to the STAR, Saturday, Jan.2, 2010, regarding your effort for a "Green Transport Policy".
Then, I read to the Wikipedia your profile and your overall achievements. So, you are a powerful
businessman and politician meaning you are aware of all the problems regarding the pollution
and disgusting traffic problems. At the same level of power there are many persons of your elite.
I cannot believe that you don't care since you live in Manila under such deadly smog..
But the conditions get worst year by year ! What can I think ?

If you have been paying attention, Villar is not going to "babysit" the nation. In fact, he is espousing entrepreneurship. He believes that Filipinos can be more than employees. We are meant to chart our own future. He has concrete plans to make that happen. His infomercials are only meant to let people know what he stands for. Villar does not have the benefit of having Kris Aquino or ABS-CBN give him free publicity. Happy New Year!

besides if Manny Villar is Pro-poor. He should give his projects (Camella homes) to the poor or rent it to them for a low price, instead of running for president. He can help alot of people that way.
