The 2006 UAAP Champions UST Growling Tigers have proven their worth for another time around, taking their first victory in UAAP Season 71 against the Fighting Maroons of the Philippine University with a quiet huge victory which clearly speaks for itself, the difference between the two squads.
The second game of this Saturday’s double header of UAAP Season 71 action (live telecast on Studio 23) is followed by the de La Salle Green Archers who’ll be facing the Far Eastern University in search for their yet to be, first victory in this present season, after their defeat against the Blue Eagles last Sunday.
Will FEU stand the crave of the Archers for this victory? Or will de La Salle finally succeed?

oi ian, wag kang bitter kasi Season 71 ang pinaguusapan dito hindi season 69. The 2 losses of UST againts UP is already a history. Move on!! And hindi chamba ung pagkapanalo ung UST dahil obviously mas malakas ust compared sa La Salle Khit nandun pa cla sa season 69.
ian anung nakatikim lng ng champion? bka ilang beses na nkatikim ng championship…. 19 championships to be exact… Basketball lng un ha.. panu pa ung ibang sports sa UAAP? And one more thing, UST has the most Overall Championships in both Jrs and Seniors Division. 45 Overall Championships, combined Jrs and Srs Div….
It seems that the first winning game of UP would be its first and last. Harhar.
