In the midst of the night

Under the splendor of the pale moonlight,

I seated quietly upon the rocks,

Gazed upon the twinkling of the stars

Of the elegant evening sky

A blessing from heavens came in by,

How lucky I was!

To see a shooting star

As it fell gracefully from not too far

Cause it gleamed gorgeously

Above like no one else does

I fell in love with that shooting star

Before it will grow fade

Before the dawn breaks

I started making a wish

That it will fall straight to my heart

I’m sure what I felt was earnest

I do promise to take good care

And keep it ‘til forever

Will you be my shooting star?
