Philippine Customs asking TAX for German relief goods

According to a colleague on a social network, the crap, fucked up, corrupt Philippine government is at it again. Victims of their corrupt acts are the survivors of Super Typhoon Yolanda.

“Ang daming Germans kanina sa Lufthansa. Ang dami ring trailer truck! Akala namin para sa Lufthansa yun, yun pala para sa Tacloban! Volunteers sila ng Lufthansa Germany, personal silang pupunta sa Tacloban para tumulong pero alam mo kanina pa sila nakatengga sa me hangar ng LTP, kasi yung trucks nila ayaw ipadisperse ng customs kasi gusto magbayad muna ng tax. Yun yung problema ng mga Germans! Gets mo yon? Donation nga e, tapos lalagyan ng tax? E hindi naman ibebenta ng mga Germans ‘yun. Tulong nga eh. Nakakahiya tuloy sa mga bansang gustong magdonate. Kabwiset!”
