Because of Kyra’s maternal grandmother’s disagreement of her daughter’s relationship with Kyra’s father, a friction in her family occurred. Despite this, she grew up in her maternal grandmother’s home with a couple of her cousins. Kyra did not go along well with her grandmother and her cousins so she had to move in with her mother in Batangas.
In Batangas, Kyra discovered her abilities in the art of dancing. Aside from dancing for school presentations and functions, Kyra is also a member of a dance troupe which receives a monthly stipend which Kyra uses as an additional fund for her schooling.
