What an upset for the FEU Tamaraws as the National University Bulldogs cut off their objective to get the solo lead in the team standings after the first round.

From the 3rd quarter on, it looked like the ball game will go in favor of the Bulldogs as they’ve attained their biggest lead with 50-40 over the Tamaraws, but the Tamaraws bounced back in the closing minutes of the 3rd to take control of the game. During the final quarter, the Tamaraws (who are known to do best in the 4th) took the lead with a couple of minutes to go, as then NU took the lead with 60-61.

With just 6 seconds left on the shot clock and 35 seconds game time, Jahnke hammered a crucial and yet the winning 3 point shot that upset the whole Araneta Coliseum and made all Ateneans, UST and La Salle Students shout in Joy as one of their main contender lost against the Underdogs.
