Bagyong Yolanda has killed more than 4,000 people during its havoc through Central Philippines making it at least 4 times worse than Typhoon Pablo’s casualty count a year earlier.
Super Typhoon Haiyan or Typhoon Yolanda as it’s known for here in the Philippines hasn’t only shaken most of Central Philippines, but most importantly put to display the incompetence of probably Philippines worse President ever.
As the casualty count goes up, the desperation of the people grows as well. Relief operations are well under way from all over the globe, but many, many more are suffering and are in need of immediate assistance.
Let’s pray for all those affected by Bagyong Yolanda for a swift recovery and return to their former lives. It’s easier said than done, of course… Specially because I am not a Typhoon Yolanda victim… but I feel for everyone who lost their loved ones and all their valuables. So, again, let’s pray for them, okay?
And please, don’t forget to donate extra clothes and spare money to the victims of this disastrous calamity.
