The first ever 3D Pokemon Adventure is set to be released this October for the Nintendo 3DS. Pokemon X and Y, two brand new entries to the Pokemon franchise will be released simultaneously worldwide.

To all PokeFans, PokeTrainers, PokeChamps, PokeMasters or Pokewhatever out there – the time has come. We’re about to experience something revolutionary in the realm of Pokemon. Pokemon X & Y are going to be the first two Pokemon games that lets you explore the Pokemon World in beautiful 3D graphics on the 3DS. It was about time one of the most popular and well received gaming series steps up.

Don’t get me wrong though. Pokemon up to the latest release of Black 2 & White 2 is as exciting and as addictive as ever (I still think Silver/Gold/Crystal were the best) but one has to admit, the over 400+ bubbly (and not so bubbly) monsters from Kanto, Johto and the other regions of the Pokemon world fell a bit behind to the latest and greatest games of today.

Now is the time that Pokemon comes back with a bang, and that, with the simultaneous worldwide release of the 3D Pokemon Adventure, Pokemon X & Y. This means that Pokemon Gamers worldwide can start battling, socalizing and trading with each other immediately. No need to wait for localization or anything – just get it on with the gaming, the training and the fighting of your Pokemon!

The 3D Pokemon games will feature three new starter Pokemon, the grass-type chipmunk-with-a-hat Chespin, fire-type foxy Fennekin and water-type frog-thing Froakie.

Series director Junichi Masuda, meanwhile, said: “We brought Pokémon into an entirely new dimension and we’re incredibly excited to bring Pokémon X and Pokémon Y to fans. The stunning visuals, a completely redesigned environment, game scenario, music, and communication features will bring smiles to the faces of video game players around the world.”
