I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone who has voted for us as their Filipino Bloggers Choice at the Philippine Blog Awards 2011.

Special thanks goes out to our PTORG Graphics Design lead Aira Lheiz Aquino for her dedication and hard work in helping us get people on board to support us!

Pinoy Teens really appreciate all of you, each vote that you have given us specially the votes with touching stories behind them.

I ensure you that Pinoy Teens will be having its best year next year with more high quality content focused specifically for the benefit of the Filipino Teenager.

To ensure stand as one proud Filipino Youth Blog, we’ll also open up our Tagalog version of Pinoy Teens very soon as well. Along with many other surprises that we’ll unveil bit by bit in the coming weeks. Promise, 2012 is going to be THE YEAR that you don’t want to mess with Pinoy Teens! 🙂

IT HAS BEEN A GREAT PLEASURE SERVING YOU, MY READERS. I started out at the age of 15/16 with Pinoy Teens… and now? Now I’m 20, and I’m going to pass on the responsibility to my younger PTORG members!

Here now, a compilation of all known votes to us, Pinoy Teens for the Bloggers’ Choice bid: (I’m sure there are a few more out there that we were unable to track)

Our Tumblr Friends who reblogged the entry of Aira. Thank you! It may have been the simplest of means to support us, but it’s still a vote for Pinoy Teens, and hopefully enough to get us the win 🙂

I also want to share with you the acceptance speech that you probably won’t hear about (because, I think, we’ll lose) at the Awarding Ceremony tomorrow….

Winning this award is just epic. This award is the first local recognition that Pinoy Teens has received throughout its 4 years of existence since we started out in 2007 as an online community and 3 years since I started making a blog out of Pinoy Teens.

Let’s not get head over heels about this award, because we would not have made it without all our fellow bloggers, readers, fans, members and supporters. Our community is relatively small, and despite being a high traffic Youth Blog, we’ve never rallied our following until a few days ago. That’s clearly something we will work on in the future.

This award goes out to all Bloggers who have gained votes as Bloggers Choice from their peers, to all Bloggers who are dedicated about their blogging and passionate in building an active community around their blog sites.

We may have ended as winners of this award, but all of us Bloggers’ Choice finalists are winners. Thanks to all the votes that we have received. The insights and inspiring reasons behind the bloggers who have cast their votes for us.

This will be the last year that I author this blog and I hope that the blogger who follows taking lead at Pinoy Teens will do even better than how I managed my “teenage hobby”.

It can only get better from now on!
