Philippine Host is going online!

This is just a quick post.

I’m happy to inform all of you that Philippine Host, the hosting site of ours which we’ve recently acquired is back online. Just to clear things out, the website has been online ever since, but we where just unable to update the blog. Ever since it’s opening, we’ve been hosting Gifted Princess and xTutorials with no problems at all with believe it or not, outstanding 100% uptime. (you can even go and ask them on their respective sites if you want).

So, if you’re up for quality hosting, watch out for Philippine Host’s official launching, like I’ve said, the site is back online, but the services not yet. We are still creating a few valuable packages from which you can choose from. We’ll also add premium (paid) solution to even maximize the usage of our servers and earn a bit while serving you guys.

I’m moving.. I’m moving..

A good question now, where? I’ll move my personal blog to Pinoy Teens! A good question, how? I’ll simply create a sub-domain on Pinoy Teens so that I can put my personal blog there! Another question would be, why?

I’m doing this because I want to keep traffic on Pinoy Teens, of course, kp.com won’t vanish, it’ll stay where it is, to keep on earning money. But my personal diary will move to either kp.pinoyteens.net kevinpaquet.pinoyteens.net or whatever, I still have to think of a nice sub.

Both are handled by Automattic, both are using the famous WordPress publishing script, but both are different in a couple of definite ways. WordPress is a very powerful tool, that even not so techies people can coupe with and make use of, even teenagers from ages 10-13 are starting WordPress blogs on their own. But, what actually is the difference among the two?

If you go with WordPress.Com, you can be sure of almost a hundred percent of uptime and quick server response, keeping your website online all the time. You also don’t need to worry about server maintainenance nor worry about upgrading your WordPress blog every now and then when a new version has been released.

StrongHub - Our New Friend

If you haven’t read our announcements yet, then this post is more of the type for you. As you might have noticed, our website was down for almost one whole day yesterday, that was because we have been kicked from our old bad hosting, and finally found a new place to stay, and that is Strong Hub. We still run on normal hosting account, with 4 other sites online and running too, haven’t experienced any problem and all, and looking forward to have no problems here.

We have been suspended on the bad hosting service namely ComputingHost because of server over load that we are causing, according to them, which I don’t find to be the case with the new host, as said, we ain’t have problems with them right now, and hope not to have any problems, if not at least minor problems only.

We look forward to stay with this hosting account for the next few months until we will go to VPS, our visitors counter has dropped by 60% just overnight. We need to get back to the usually number of visitors that we also do have.
