Sarah Geronimo – The Next One

The Philippine Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo is scheduled to return to Philippine’s biggest and grandest music venue ever, the Araneta Colliseum. It’s one of the venues that Sarah Geronimo has been rocking on since a couple of years into her career.

Her series of solo concert at the Big Dome started with the breakout Major Solo Concert entitled The Other Side which was followed by another convincing concert Sarah Geronimo in Motion and she’s yet to return to the dome for one of the year’s most anticipated concerts, Sarah Geronimo and The Next One.

The Concert will be a big hit, as promised by the producers from Viva, the list of sponsors is also quite huge and includes the following: Jollibee, Belo Essentials, Charmee, Bench, Cebuana Lhuillier, Skechers Time, Magnolia Fruit Drink and Health Tea, ABS-CBN, PCSO, AMA University, Hapee Toothpaste, Xtreme Magic Sing, Smart Buddy, MYX, Philippine Star, Manila Bulletin, People’s Journal, Business Mirror, Viva Prime, PBO, WRR 101.9, Star FM, IFM, Love Radio, Yes FM, Energy FM, OPM Online and Information Gateway.

A couple of things that you can look forward to is the presence of Rayver Cruz, Maja Salvador and a couple others who will prepare for a production number. And not to forget the attendance and participation of other stars and friends of Sarah Geronimo like John Lloyd Cruz, Billy Crawford and even more. Are you excited already? I’ll Be There – Sarah Geronimo

The first single from Sarah Geronimo’s latest Album is track number 1, I’ll Be There. A duet with BSB Member Howie Dorough. A duet which looks to be a promising hit just like predecessor IKAW managed to top last year.

Sarah Geronimo’s duet with fellow Local Singers can be counted by your own hands, but don’t count this to one of those simple duets she used to have with Erik Santos, Mark Bautista or any other Filipino Chart Topper. We’re speaking here about a Internationally Competitive Duet of Sarah Geronimo, the Philippine Pop Princess, and Back Street Boys Sensation Howie Dorough..

The song is slowly climbing its way up the Myx and Radio Charts in the Philippines and hitting some key notes in foreign states if I heard it right. Anyway, I want to share to you the lyrics of this beautiful song, just as they are written on the album Just Me that I recently purchased.

5th Album of Sarah Geronimo: Just Me

I’m quite confused on how to call her, whether she has developed to a Pop Queen or is a Pop Teen Princess yet, since she looks quite cute and very young on the cover of her latest album. A lot younger than she does on her Taking Flight and Becoming looks.

If you don’t know whom I’m talking about, I’m here about to discuss Sarah Geronimo, one of the most awesome singers and actress Abs-Cbn is holding. A treasure that the whole Philippines is proud of due to her local and international success in the past few years.

I need to admit the fact that I’ve been very much disappointed about her Taking Flight Album, her cuteness was totally transparent on that said album (except for the single IKAW which was a quite awesome hit on Myx). Besides IKAW and TIME TO LET Go, there wasn’t much to talk about that album from my point of view. Unlike the prior Becoming, which was a definite powerhouse with one of her all time bests, Carry My Love.

But now, let’s leave the odds and endeavors of her prior history in terms of music behind. Sarah Geronimo’s Music Career now runs towards its fifth year and her fifth Album, Just Me. The album was released just this September 12, 2008 and is running H-O-T nationwide; I mean it. It’s on fire! And I’m proud to say, a lot of factors lead to its unflagging success at the present.

One of the hottest topics in town on a lot of websites is the single I’ll Be There which is track number one of the album, featuring Back Street Boys member Howie Dorough) and indeed, the promising criticism is worth it, and the song proves itself to be deserving the positive feedback it got from the crowd. The Popsters (that’s how Sarah Geronimo fans call themselves) are now awaiting the premiere of this carrier single of her album on Myx to start voting it straight through to the top of the charts. Could this be another pretty upset just like IKAW has marked its signature in Philippine Music History last year?

I used to be one of the avid addict posting Popsters on her Forums (the reason why I tried building my own and then ended up blogging), and I have to be honest, I didn’t knew about this album until a couple of hours ago when I glanced over the music store and noticed a familiar face, Sarah Geronimo covered in a new blue style, and I just went “Oh, it’s a new album that I really must have right now!” And here I am now, in possession of one of the many copies that have been sold already.

The song that caught most of my attention was the tagalog song entitled “Dahil Minahal Mo Ako” which is the 3rd track on the album. I’ll be keeping you on track with lyrics and with more information about the album and the songs inside it, and of course of the singers whenever there are new buzzers heating up.

What Will I Do My Lord?

mHmm.. I’m still thinking about what I should write about.. As apparently any good content won’t be rewarded since the penalty continues and continues and may last for the next half year, if at worst state. But anyways, let me bring out some good content for today. Seems like recently we’ve just played around and haven’t released any lesson or so. But now, let’s grasp something from the emo side.

I believe all of us, you and I and everyone out there has encountered at least a single problem in life. At times, it can be a difficult one, sometimes a little bump you need to move over. And sometimes it also happens, that the problems that you encounter are quite bigger ones that need more of your attention, time and everything. For most christians or Roman Catholics, this is the time when we look back and remember again the master above us, our creator; God. How awful it may sound, we come to forget him often in times we don’t need him.

Yet, anyway, rest assure that he’s still there for all of us, he’s around us and will guide us through all the odds. (just don’t do the too obvious and too abusive way of asking for his guidance and enlightenment). So, what would be the next thing that you’d gonna do after closing to God? You would come to ask him, What Will I Do My Lord? Am I correct? For this issue, I’ve a special song attached which you can download and read the lyrics of below.

The song talks about you and the Lord God, it talks about a man, who is asking for the enlightenment of God, for his guidance, for his questions to be answered. For him to be told, what he should do and how to follow God’s very plan for him. The song is performed by the Prince Of Pop Erik Santos, although it’s quite old already, I still use to play this song in times when I am sad and when I feel bad; and have no one else to turn to, even my best friend.

To start a little discussion, may I ask all of you; besides asking God for guidance, what else do you do in times of frustration and defeat, else, if you also would come to ask God for something, what would that be?
