First Manila Batch of Audition for PBB Teen Edition happened last week. Provincial Auditions for Clash of 2010 is rumored to kick off soon.

While I feel the pain and dissappointment for all who have a.not made it to register for the first audition call in Manila b. not passed the audition, I have some good news for you after all relating to the upcoming Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Season 3 Clash of 2010.

It is rumored, that like always, Pinoy Big Brother is going to pick several key cities in various provinces for their PBB Teen Edition 3 Provincial Audition. Locations, dates and is still unclear though. Immortal Text, not immortal after all

Globe, one of the largest mobile networks closed the gates of their Immortal Text Service and leaves millions of subscribers in the dry.

Globe’s Immortal Text doesn’t seem to be that Immortal after all. I could have guessed something like this happening in advance, but the way Globe has advertised it, it looked to be something for real, but it truly isn’t. Globe Immortal Text has been one of the services that has seduced a lot of users from other networks to switch to Globe, including me who was on the rear edge to switch to the Smart Network.

The said service made the users avail of 10 free text to other networks, and 50 globe-to-globe texts with no expiry. Very convenient for the moderate texters, but not really that useful for the extreme ones, though they have another option to choose from, which is also pretty cheap.

It sucks to be cheated this way by Globe, but maybe they didn’t profited from this business model too, which forced them to close the gates of the Immortal World. Sucks also to know that high-profile celebrities like Sarah Geronimo used to be the face on television to promote their texting service. This is the end of yours truly being a Globe User, but if in case Globe changes the mind and opens up again – if this isn’t just a stupid bug in relation to the loading problem that they have had the past couple of days -, it might think the move to other networks over again.

For now, this is it. Enough with crappy advertisements and empty promises from a network that doesn’t only suck in Mobile Services, but with their creepy slow broadband too. (I should be getting a speed of at least 512KBPs but end up with a connection of freaking low 90+KBPs only. With that, PINGS between 500-1000. Not only a stupid connection, but a bitchy cheap quality one too at an expensive price.

Barbie Forteza – GMA Pinay Teen Actress

Barbie Forteza, the young Pinay Actress grown by GMA 7 has a lot of potential. She stars in the prime time soap “First Time” and was also seen in 2 MMFF Entries.

There is no way that you could have missed her if you have been an avid follower of GMA 7’s rendition of Stairway to Heaven. Barbie Forteza played the role of the younger Jodi that time. She was also seen in two Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Entries, Wapakman and Ang Darling Kong Aswang. It isn’t quite obvious, is it, that we at Pinoy Teens dominantly provide Abs-Cbn eNews and stuff, but this time around, let’s do otherwise for this young special lady.

Barbie Forteza is one of the rising young talents of GMA 7, she calls it her home -but I really believe that she’d be better of at Abs-Cbn when she grows up, as she’s still very young, and as there are still a few shining stars at Abs-Cbn that need to fade to give her more room, the case of Claudine’s move to GMA, anyone?

Nevertheless, whatever television network she favors to work with, I’ll be one of the many who are looking forward to this cute Pinay Teen Actress that GMA has come to grown. She has a lot of potential, I just hope that they do the right thing to unleash it.

Barbie, the teen actress in focus in this quick article can be seen during weekday evenings in her very own prime time series, “First Time” accommodated by two other actors who shine beside her.

The Future Ahead

This will be the last post that I address to you about the silent re-launch of the Philippine Youth Site, Pinoy Teens Online. If you have read our other blogs, you’ll note how confident Princess and yours truly are when it comes to the resurfacing of this website among the top ones of the Philippines. It is all cheesy talk, it may not make sense to you, but to us it does. That is exactly what we are trying to deliver by posts like these.

You may not realize it now, but the moment in your life will come, when people can’t understand you. There are going to be times when they just don’t want to understand you. But don’t see it from a negative side. That’s exactly what many of you do about us right now, and maybe to other people too.

Have an Open-Mind

Don’t limit your imaginations to what seems real or what is logically correct. Thinking out of the box is more often needed than you could think of. Be open-minded, try to understand others. I know that majority of you feel odd about the fact that people around you can’t understand you.

This change on our website means much to us because, this is how we’ve started it. We started motivating ourselves with the belief that we can be part of the élite websites in the Philippines, and we are not far off. We had nothing but our belief and self-trust when we started this blog, and now on its mere decline in popularity, we are going to build it up on the same foundation again. We reached far beyond boarders of our imagination. That itself was an accomplishment that made us feel more than complete. But the urge for more has captivated us, the urge to be part, one of the witness of Change in the Philippines.

That is why I’m here to present the Philippine Youth Site – Pinoy Teens Online, which, in the past was known as Pinoy Teens Online – Bahay ng Kabataang Pinoy.

After the honor to be a Youth Partner of YES 2009, we came up with the idea to contribute to the SEAChange/Youth Says Community in our own simple ways, in what we do best – blogging. We contributed much to our original goal which was to change how foreigners look at the “Pinoy Teen/s” by ranking well with that keyword and related ones. Leading them to a Youth Site, instead a X-Rated one.

Now is the time that for the PHILIPPINE TEENS MEDIA – Youth Bloggers for Change to change the Filipino Teens perspective about various things, that, through our words and activities that are coming up. I assure you, we’ll make sure that we’ll be one of the active contributors to positive change here in the Philippines…

It sounds far off, and merely impossible to be part of the change, but that is what we like about it. Just like before. Working hard to reach a stage we’ve never explored.
