Thoughts.com: A Dynamic Avenue For Thoughts
November 28, 2009
I have been writing in the Internet since 12 years of age–so that gives me 7 years of writing in the Internet. I remember starting in Diary Land. Afterwards, I went to Xanga and then to BlogSpot. When I finished high school, I then tried Wordpress. But during those times, Wordpress was very hard for me to use and so I went back to BlogSpot until my personal blogging thing died because I was too busy with college.
Now that I have thought of it again, I think the main reason why I lost my drive for blogging was because my readers back then were mostly personal friends of mine. My old blog died during the start of my college years and basically, my readers were also starting their own college years too. So simply put, we were all too busy to still check out each other’s blog sites. I could have not cared and just continued blogging but then again, I felt that it was already becoming useless and a little bit awkward to continue writing thoughts that nobody paid even just a little attention to. I am sure a lot of potentially good writers out there are experiencing the same thing right now and I know it sucks big time! But thankfully, I just know which thing would help them in this sad dilemma.
Thoughts.com is a large and effective avenue for people who have the passion or even just the interest for writing that are not yet capable of setting up their own webpages but are wanting for a dynamic discussion about their points-of-views and common interests. It has a user-friendly mechanism which only requires you to sign up for an account and manage your own profile with basic data about yourself. With Thoughts.com, you can share your opinions and even your ramblings through writing a blog post, posting photos, videos and even podcasts. Gathering essential data for studies and researches is also possible with Thoughts.com through setting up surveys and polls in the website. If you simply want reading about current events that tackle a wide range of topics, you can also try their news section.
The best thing about Thoughts.com is that it has a large audience for writing since people in their database which are registered members as well do read others’ people’s post too. Thoughts.com also has this safeguard mechanism in the form of reminding members to maintain a positive and friendly atmosphere in posting comments. It may not be absolute but this way, you can still be assured that useless bashing of blog posts shall be lessened. Negative comments which usually discourage writers to still go on with writing is significantly lessened in Thoughts.com too. :)
While topics to be written in Thoughts.com are completely infinite, Thoughts.com is not only an avenue for practiced writers but can also serve as a playground for people who are still getting a grip of writing. There are a lot of users that can serve as a mere inspiration for writers and people who can give constructive comments when they try to execute things that they have learned through mere reading.
Truly, Thoughts.com’s free blog services fits in all essence of the word THOUGHTS’ very open nature. :)
Back Type – Gather all your comments
February 1, 2009
Did you ever felt like, you missed out a discussion on the web which you want to take another glance at? Or have you realized that you missed the check box to subscribe to follow-up comments on a interesting article? Or do you simply want the discussion going and have a list of whatever comment that you have left across the web on various websites?
I’ve got the solution for you, but not really the solution that I intended to share with you. Well, let me keep things short. I’ve discovered a site, actually two sites that allow you to gather all your comments and keep track of the conversations that you are involved in. No more need to worry about your email being flooded with “there’s a new comment here, there’s a new comment there” on those hot topics you are part of. No more need to remember wherever you have left a comment because there’s this tool that can help you out pretty nicely.
Mr Almighty, is insane
October 26, 2008
Have you ever heard about the Mr Almighty of the world wide web? The site who could answer all of your questions with just a single try? If you haven’t yet, then it’s time to be upset now!
Yes, you read it correctly, there is one website o
n the world wide web which is able to answer all of your questions with just a single click. All that you have to do is to type in the petition and add your question on the next line and there you go. You may come to notice that there are times when he is unable to answer your questions, don’t you wonder why? Don’t you wonder why he happens to not be able your first, your second, your third or yet all of your questions?
I know, some of you are pretty excited and are in total disbelief that a website like this is really existing, and yes, you’re instinct tells you the truth. There is no website like that available that can answer all your questions with no flaws. So, if you’re one of those who went over to the site right away before finishing reading this post, I have to extend my dearest apology for this prank.
Instead of feeling upset that he has answered all your questions, you may come to feel upset for the fact that you fell for this prank. But seriously, you can make your friends believe in Mr Almighty’s ability to answer all their questions.
It’s actually pretty easy, let me show you how:
First and foremost, you need to open up the website, and let your readers read the incredible simple instructions given on the website. You should be the one to type in their behalf to perform this prank. Now, the best question to kick things off would be asking Mr Almighy how many are you. It’s a good question to be asked because it sounds very credible when you’re a bigger crowd. But don’t forget to count yourself how many you are.
Now, when you type the petition and end it with the semicolon just like instructed there (:) and come to finish the question with a question mark just as mentioned on the site again (?); you’ll come to notice that he’ll answer back to you not correct answer, but with something like: “You doubt me, etc”.
The trick behind this is, that you are the one who will feed him with the answers. Here’s how it goes.
If for example, you’re 5 in your group, type this text in the petition field:
Pl.5.e answer:
and in the question field, simply type the question and don’t forget to add the question mark at the end of it. After it reloads, you should be able to see the answer below your question. Still don’t get it? Don’t worry, I’ve got you covered. All that you need to do is to type the answer inbetween the two dots (.) when you type your petition Ex:
Ple.kevin.er:
and then add type your question as you usually would do, now, don’t forget to add the question mark to it.
Enjoy fooling your friends!
Gadget Advisor
October 24, 2008
While I was surfing on the net looking for geeky stuff that I could write about here on Pinoy Teens Online. I discovered a webiste that pretty much relates to the content that we should also have. Technology related news and a couple of interesting posts like a post regarding top firefox extensions.
The Gadget Advisor has become pretty much a established and fast growing community of readers who love to get just everything latest when it comes to internet and e-gadgets. Their evaluation of online backup service is also a nice and honest read. Did that sound interesting? That’s not yet all, go and check out the logic universal remote, too!

Know more about your domain!
May 17, 2008
There’s been Alexa, to rank your website according to traffic, which is not quiet accurate because it counts more those visitors who are using their toolbar namely Sparky. Technorati has been ranking blogs for sometime by the means of calculating the incoming links and ranking blogs by somewhat called Authority. The classic Google Page Rank back in days counted the superiority of ones website on the internet, the higher the page rank, the powerful you are in terms of reviews and other stuff.
Doesn’t it annoys you when you have to visit technorati, then alexa and so on? Well, you could have everything in one place and get your domain better! I’m a bad explorer but I’ve bumped on a site that is definitely somewhat of your taste too, maybe. URL TREND is a website that enables you to get a overview of the stats of your websites, according to page rank, alexa rank, link popularity and more. Easy to use service that is totally free. And if you wish to have daily updates, for just less than 4 US Dollar, may get the paid service that updates the stats of the website of yours daily, hassle free live updates on how your website is doing on the web!
Great isn’t it? I’ve just bought their paid service for my other website (not for this one) and so far, so good. Check it out yourself too now, and see what your site has really got!
