Kevin sent to the hospital
August 26, 2008
He has told us before, but we, eventually did not really took the importance of what he blogged about until now, as just a night before his National Career Assessment Examination to be held at the Philippine Women’s College of Davao, our administrator Kevin Paquet has been sent off for a break, to a nearby hospital. The rashes-like dots that are spread all over his body have been identified as a viral infection which needs to be healed quickly to avoid any severe damage of any kind.
With this, it’s only up to me, and Izy Mae to keep you updated on the latest things while he is off the computer for the next 48 hours, at least. If you would participate in the discussion what kind of disease this could be, then I’d strongly recommend you to take part at the poll we’ve created for this on our discussion site.
There will be a delay in the launching of one of the new features and contests that we’re supposed to kick off today, until he returns from his leave.

PDA Buzz: Sen Nichols and Van Pojas, weakest!
August 25, 2008
Bestfriends Sen Nichols and Van Pojas appear to have delivered the weakest performance the other day during the Gala Night. It’ll be a tough time for both to compete against each others, since they are both bestfriends. Speculations say that it’s time for Sen to kiss the Academy goodbye, as he appears to have the weakest fan base. Can Sen Nichols supporters prove this criticism wrong?
Although, I must agree that Van had generally a better performance throughout all the performances given by them, it’s still difficult to throw a wild guess who of these two will have to leave soon.
Who do you think will say goodbye to the Academy?

RF Online Population declining
August 24, 2008
I used to play RF Online for a couple of years now, but I’ve quitted playing the game since March, so has my bestfriend stopped playing the game for a couple of months, 5 long months to be exact. Now, being back in the world of Rising Force Online Philippines since 2 days, I’ve noticed a lot of changes. Might it not be political changes, in the perspective of the people who continue to govern the respective races on the respective servers, but it’s the gameplay in general.
I used to be very adventorous throughout every day I’m playing RF Online. My day would never be complete without a attack on the other camps using my Melee Mystic, dubbed as iBeLieVe, just a level 45 Bellato from Praxis. Now, back to the game play. Formerly, a couple of months back, each and every settlement used to be full with players who are preoccupied by their respective tasks. But, as I made my tour around Haram of Cora. I’ve noticed that there was no one around, maybe one or two people here and there, but that was all. Instead of adding some contribution points to my 146,572. I’ve lost 2,000 contribution points on that attack.
As I then opted to make use of my lowbie character, my Ranger Mystic dubbed as TheLastLegend, I went on training my range skills which have been left far behind. Formerly, I would come to fight for the monsters at the Solus Rex Area, but now, there are plenty of them. Which is certainly caused by the decrease of population in RF Online, which again, is due to the many bugs the game has right now, which Accretia, Bellato and Cora alike are taking advantage of. I went on PTing for about 3 hours with not even a single conflict with a fellow Bellato, or with any raider. AS then suddenly, a Bellato in Chaos mode run amok; killing all the lowbies that he could see around. But well, not my level 39. Instead of killing me with his Hora Spear using Pressure, Clout Chop, he misses. The repel squad was on it’s way, and I was very happy to assist them and sell the Amok Runner to them by casting entangle to restrain him from fleeing.
Funny how it is, there are still a couple of people who come to recognize me, who I really am. But well, after all, the RF Online Community is not the same anymore. It’s not as fun as it used to be 5 months ago, but, for sure, only the best are left, thus, the quality of the game play is still there, just a little lonelier.
Soccer Gold for Brazil says “Bye!”
August 23, 2008
How ironic, the favored Brazilian Soccer Squad, Male and Female where unable to succeed for the Gold Medal. The might have ever so well played against other though competitive nations at the Beijing 2008 Olympics, but that was far from enough to bag the Gold.
Both teams got eliminated in the Play Offs, the Women against the United States, and the Men, against the Argintinian Soccer Team. The Women may have showed off great talent and a very nice first touch against Gemany leaving them behind by 3 markers. But in the game against the United States, this was not the case, although, they’ve played some excellent ball.
The Male Team, which was able to classify for the play offs, let the Gold slip away right from their hands as they have been defeated by Argentina with 3 markers, at a score of 3 to nothing.
What more upset matches are we going to see in the Olympics in Beijing?
Crucial Saturday in the UAAP
August 22, 2008
The games tomorrow are for sure as much anticipated like the big face off between UE and ADMU yesterday. It’ll be a crucial game for everyone involved tomorrow as the FEU squad will have to face present second placer, De La Salle Green Archers. Both of them have their own objectives to achieve. La Salle, trying to defend their 2nd spot and eventually chase down the Blue Eagles, and FEU securing a spot in the final four and eventually moving up to the second place, past the Archers.
But that’s not the only anticipated game on the said Saturday Showcase. Th Growling Tigers of UST will face the NU Bulldogs, we all know what strength the bulldogs possess, and this might just be another upset victory for them, like they’ve defeated the Tamaraws in the first round of elemination.
While the NU Bulldogs are fighting to gain some respect back down the cellar. The UST Growling Tigers are up to get a step closer to the final four. With UE, having lost against the Ateneo Blue Eagles, this objective is very much possible and realistic for the 2006 Champions. Let’s see which way the ball goes tomorrow and who among them will go and shine.
AdMU’s though day against UE
August 21, 2008
For sure, the intensity of one of the most anticipated games in the UAAP for this season rose to its full extend again, as the Nike League 2008 Finals rematch part II took place at the big dome today. It was UE Red Warriors facing the Nike League Champions Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles who lead the table with just a single loss in all the games that they have played. The Jesuits where boasted with confidence after the landslide victory over the Adamson Falcons and the sweep of University of Santo Thomas. The question of the day was, if the Blue Eagles will remain competitive and sweep the University of the East as well?
The line up for the first half appeared to be not that competitive, giving the UE Red Warriors a great advantage on which they’ve built on the 10 points lead that they’ve possesed up to the last 2 minutes of the fourth and final quarter. Everything was going their way. They’ve forced the Blues to more turnovers than they usally allow in a ballgame, thus giving them the lead. Adding to it, the 29% from the field of the Blue Eagles wasn’t quite an impressive show off. My friends, my mother and all Ateneo supporters that I knew started screaming and sending out mass mages (on their mobile phones and Yahoo! messenger) that their most favorite Ateneo Blue Eagles is drawing the shorter against a very competitive University of the East.
Proceeding to the last 2 minutes of a quite miserable afternoon for both sides, the Warriors had a big 10 points advantage (just like I said above). It seemed to be unlikely for the Blue Eagles to come back. But Chris Tiu and Ryan Buenafe made the unexpected possible. After the time out taken by Norman Black, Chris Tiu was wide open for a 3 point shot, thus boasting the morale and confidence of Ateneo’s offense and awakening the yiels and cheers of the Ateneans and supporters of them in attendance at the big dome. But that little 3 pointer by Chris Tiu was far not enough to get rid of the fierce offense of the Warriors as they where able to take down a 2 point shot. The struggling Blue Eagles then managed to hammer another 3 pointer down, again, courtesy of Chris Tiu, the Captain Eagle. Baclao contributed to the game with a very vital block, giving the Eagles the chance to cut the lead of the UE Red Warriors. Again, they struggled where to pass to. And well, a very unexpected 3 point shot by RYAN BUENAFE made all Blue Eagles shout out loud in happiness and they where back on track, with only 3 points behind the Warriors. The Warriors failed to knock a basket with their possession, so it was time for the Blue Eagles to do or die.
Chris Tiu who was heavily garded by 2 Warriors launched an 3 point shot from quite some distance and was able to draw the game with that at 50 a piece, that, with 13 seconds left on the game clock. The Reds gathered up for one last charge to succeed over the Blues, but they’ve not been granted an easy bucket, nor a bucket at all. So, the game went into over time with the Red Warriors able to get the ball. I can’t recall everything exactly what happened there. But a quite impressive move by Ryan Buenafe who drove hard to the basket gave the Blue Eagles 2 vital points, unexpected points, since he is still a Rookie and not everyone (including me) would have thought that he would go for such a difficult play.
After all the hard work the Blue Eagles then managed to succeed over the Red Warriors by 4 points. I believe that there’s one moral lesson to absorb from this game, for all the teams out there. You’ll be simply not safe against the Blue Eagles with a 10 point advantage in the last two minutes. And that has been proven by the triples of Chris Tiu and Ryan Buenafe.
With this game taken, the Blue Eagles continue to stay on top of things with still just a single loss. Can they continue to perform this excellence, and probably grab the title?
Thoughts of My Own Blogging
August 19, 2008
Comments of appreciation are always the main reasons why I’m keeping this blog alive. There are people returning here, leaving comments. There are people just visiting, but visiting regularly for all the new content. There’s no sense denying, I haven’t blogged about anything great lately, but still, I’m very thankful to all those who come to appreciate my doings. I haven’t noticed myself that Pinoy Teens Online already counts to one of the top blogs in the Pinoy Blogosphere, as all that I’m concentrating on is knock into the 100,000 Mark of Alexa.
I have been into all these stuff, like blogging and domaining for over a year now. But it’s been just since the 21st of March that I really exerted effort into blogging and WordPress. It has brought me very far, and as far as I know, I can say that July has been the peak of My Blogging Carreer. It was in that month that my traffic exelled unexpectedly, it was in that month that I broke the barriers of reality and fantasy as I unexpectedly made it closer, and closer to the 100,000 mark of Alexa.
This month, the traffic is slowing down, but.. It doesn’t means that I’ll be slowing down, it just means that I need to work harder, it’s a signal that I need to put more effort into my work and get better blog posts out. And you, the loyal readers who keep on coming back, will guide me through your feedback in becoming a better blogger ever post that I release.
Wala lang. Feel ko lang mag speech. HAHA.
Chris Brown hits the Philippines
August 19, 2008
If you’re one of those who really love R&B, then well. Keep your eyes and ears open to find out whether it’s true or not that Chris Brown will be hitting Metro Manila, on the 29th of October.
According to some people, this has been verified and is true. I bet it’ll be one big event again for all the Philippine R&B lovers and I bet that It’ll be once again a very unforgettable night for the foreign artists. You know, as good as I do, that Filipinos are really top notch when it comes to welcome popular artists, especially from the USA and someone of such quality like Chris Brown.
The general admission for the said concert starts at 600 Pesoss and reach as high as 10,000 Pesos and 8,000 for VIP 2 (next 5 rows , after the VIP1), there are also of course, more accommodating prices going as low as 2,500 Pesos for Upper Box A, and 1,500 Pesos for upper box B.
If I’d be you, I’d better go and find a way reserving a ticket for one very fantastic musical event.
Heading to Metro Manila
August 18, 2008
On the 5th of September, I’ll be taking a late plane to go to Manila. Just some hours before the WordCamp Philippines Fever will come my way the next morning. For all those who are here for the first time, let me inform you that WordCamp Philippines will be taking place on the 6th of September at the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde. But, the registration has been closed for quite some time already.
I’m lucky to be one of those who will attend the said event. Although, I barely know a single blogger of the many joining WordCamp Philippines, in Manila. It’s quite something to fly in from Davao for such an event at the age I’m in, isn’t it?
There are two things that I fear going to Manila. One of them, is that there will be a accident happening. I just don’t trust Filipino Planes and Pilots, sorry to say so.
Secondly, I fear meeting all the people there. I’m not that good in socializing, you know. And I bet I’ll be meeting some fierce rivals at the event. Hopefully, I’ll be able to befriend all of them and have a good time there. After the Saturday event, I’ll be vacant the whole Sunday morning and afternoon.
Anyone who cares to hangout and/or meet me?
Time Out!

Green Archers continue the Chase
August 16, 2008
Hats off for the excellence in basketball courtesy of the Green Archers who continue their solo flight as the league’s 2nd thoughest team, with Ateneo ahead by just a single win.
It’s difficult to predict which way the season’s 2nd round of elimination will go, because anything may happen, just like NU has proven it the latter year against the Blue Eagles, and in their last task during the first round in the present Season against the FEU Tamaraws.
The Green Archers take a slight advantage over the Ateneans as they’ve been able to keep-off a strong contender like the UE Red Warriors for the 2nd round. Whilst Ateneo, still has to face them. At the other end. The Blue Eagles have taken on the FEU Tamaraws and the UST Growling Tigers successfully in this second round, leaving dust behind them. Although, they’ve taken down two big teams already, there’s no assurance that they’ll end up the elemination on top of them, as they still have NU and UE ahead. And well, prepare for NU’s surprising effectiveness when it comes to the Blue Eagles.
After those vital games, everything then, boils down to the showdown of the Rivals. Ateneo vs De La Salle. But that game still has to wait for a couple of weeks, as that will be the last game of the elemination, and a very, very crucial one.
Token of Appreciation
August 16, 2008
I feel very happy that there are a few people who are frequently commenting on articles of all kind that I’m posting, useful, nonsense, important or unsignificant ones. These are some of the people who keep me hanging on this website to continue blogging, in spite the fact that I’ve personally lost the will to blog. Not that I hate it, but I’m just really confused with all the many domain names that I possess.
I would love to blog about a lot of things, but time won’t allow me to. Like a post like this, I was ever so longing to thank my commentors here, by sending comments back, which I wasn’t capable of for weeks. Even the traffic went down.
That’s why, instead of sending comments back. I’ll send something via Paypal. So, the both of you.
Aika and Kikamz. Send me an instant message on my Yahoo! Messenger.
