The movie is directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, and like we noted in the starting paragraph, the movie is set to be coming to theaters near you this February.

Everything seems to start out very positive for Bamboo in 2012. Aside from Bamboo joining ASAP 12, he also started 20120 with a new album. Bamboo notes that joining ASAP 12 means to go out of his comfort zone which in return shall help him learn a little more about himself and aid him grow as both a person and an artist.

Rock Icon Bamboo was warmly received at ASAP 12 via a grand all-star welcome last Sunday, Bamboo performed his hits and shared the concert stage with ASAP mainstays Gary Valenciano, Sarah Geronimo, and Yeng Constantino.

Singson has arrived home at Vigan Ilocos Sur, he arrived last Saturday. Aboard a private plane owned by his father Ilocos Sur Gov. Chavit Singson.

Yet Kevin has certainly won the Peer Blog Awards among us, the trio that started it all here at Pinoy Teens.

All of us here, aside from Princess Kaye and your very beautiful (char lang) Izy are proud of Kevin and what he has achieved this year. He’s come far after falling into a slump a year earlier and messing up halfway through 2009. It’s going upwards now I believe!

What makes Kevin the real winner in our eyes?

Many don’t see how dedicated Kevin is, that’s alright, we give you that. The problem that’s always been around is that he has problems socializing with people, making friends and keeping connections. He only had a few friends in High School up until the present day and was never a good persuader.

He was never the strong competitive guy, but the supportive and helpful one.

I’m so proud of what Kevin has achieved this year in terms of being a good friend and Kuya to the people around him. I can’t tell to which extent he was part of the success of his friends, but I’m very sure that he is one of the reasons his friends are where they are at the moment.

I called him up a few hours ago when I heard the news that he’s (very) sick at the moment. He told me that his friend has won in the Philippine Blog Awards, which in my opinion makes him a winner alongside his colleague.

That hasn’t been the only case this year when Kevin was of help to other people, but there are many other instances in which he helped out. I’m so proud of him, his personality, and how he cares about his closest friends.

Rest assured we will help you in 2012 that you will get into the spotlight, too!

No doubt, Pinoy Teens is the first and only to make its mark as a blog purely written by Teenagers of Filipino blood. No doubt, we were one of the most visited weblogs in 2008 and 2009. But what happened in 2010 and half way through the present year? Nothing, well, not much at least.

I see it as a great challenge personally to start working on the blog again. It takes a lot of effort to get a blog back on its feet rather than starting a new one… It’s mainly because of the expectations that people who know us have set. These people know that Pinoy Teens used to be a place for excellent information, critical thinking and often times, harsh and truthful opinions about certain issues all around. But that was the nature of Pinoy Teens, that was the characteristic that brought us success.

Kevin is scared trying to build this blog on his own, because he has failed so many times throughout the last couple of months trying so, that’s why he gave us a poke, asking us to board the Pinoy Teens ship once more.

First things first, I want to thank Aira Lheiz for the overall appealing look. Her logo really stands out and makes the website look really cute. It nailed the sweet spot in my opinion. Not too light, yet not too dull either.

Second, I want to thank everyone who has ever contributed to the blog. Ever. All the past contributors, Anna, Shing, and all the other people who helped us get by month after month.

Third, of course, the Loyalists, the Pioneers. I know that a handful of you are still out there who have been with us from the very moment we started our forum in 2007 until this very day, awaiting our long overdue return to the scene.

Blogs were not that popular during our days… It’s going to be a tough challenge for us to join the elite of todays blogging scene… but sooner or later, we will get there! With what? With… PinoyTeens.Net.

Even before, a lot of people got interested to hook up with Pinoy Teens, either contributor, partner up or invite us for events. Pinoy Teens was doing incredibly well in 2008 and 2009. Specifically midway through 2009. What has slowed us down aside from academics? Is it just pure laziness? Lost of heart and desire to go on? What?

What I have noticed with Kevin is that who ever he has hooked up with at any point has great impact on how his online carrer drives on. We just talked on the phone a while ago as he shared his sad dreams about one particular person. The way he described the dream, and everything else around it, I strongly believe that, that particular person has been missing all months long.

Indeed, their relationship was placed midway 2009 and did not last long. Yet it was during that short period where he excelled and laid down the foundation that led to his successful stint at the YES 2009 and other events. Pinoy Teens was slowly but surely moving up anyways, if we’d have to set aside that relationship… but it truly was during that time span when he got that enthusiasm, excitement and dedication again.. and it really showed not only in his writing but in the way he worked behind the scene.

Princess (Quin) saw it coming all along. She knew that the relationship would not last long. We tried to stop him, but who can stop a guy in love so deeply and sincerely with someone? Princess knew that, over time, the relationship he has had with that girl would only stifle him and slow him down. It would leave broken pieces inside him, remnants of the emotions the two have shared..

I know well that Kevin loves Pinoy Teens, writing and managing this website… It’s hard to understand though, why his actions seem limited and dull.

What now?

The lesson that we can take out of this is, sometimes, passion and love for whatever hobby or work you have just won’t cut it… sometimes, you need a lasting inspiration, probably a person who will drive you on, someone, or something that makes you enjoy your work more and appreciates you.

That’s one of the reasons why I told the tear jerking boy to send her an email.. I’d bet on it that if she replies, even if just in a neutral tone, it will drive Pinoy Teens up again.. quickly.

The people behind Star Factor know well that it is easy to find new talents, but it’s hard to make them endure in the highly competitive showbiz scene nowadays.

They also noted at the same press conference that they’d make sure whoever ranks top among the participants in Star Factor will gain full attention of the network in becoming the next idol of the masses of the said age range. Reason why they assure so is because TV5 does not have a lot of shining stars in the given 13-18 age group and would like to develop a few names in those ages. And probably you, or your son and daughter could be the right people to take that spot!

TV5 promises to work on all aspects of entertainment with the contestants in various workshops. Meaning it won’t only be all about acting, singing or dancing, but also about stage ethics, stage parents, how to confront the media and the like. They have chosen some of the best mentors in the field of entertainment to ensure that this batch of future stars will truly become stars of the future.

Viewers Participation has been highly questioned, too. Unlike in the other reality-based TV Shows, Star Factor wishes to give way to the judges to rank the teens accordingly. This is to avoid any bias from the masses which often has become a issue. “The rich will pursue, but the poor with no fan base will go down” which has often, if not always behold truth. Unless you’re a Melai or Jason.

Star Factor will be aired once or twice during weekends with updates about the teens on weekdays. It will be a 14-week long journey of drama, entertainment, acting, dancing and more of the like.

Rumors spread the web like wild fire again, and even our PBB related fan page was on fire with Tricia bashers and Tricia Guardians all over the place earlier yesterday evening (as it’s past 3 already now). To all those who have written very negative, below the belt articles about Tricia Santos, please stop it. You have no basis for your articles, and all of you are really getting a step too far with it already. She shouldn’t technically be bothered much about guys at her young age, or at least not on National Television (which by the way didn’t revealed much of the Tricia – Ivan Tandem yet). And you are talking about sex and connect it with this young girl? C’mon, she knows better, and you all know better than that.

Below the belt bashing, disrespect, all pointing at Tricia.

We are not perfect here, that’s true. We dislike her and often times expressed it in some posts, but that is no reason to disrespect her. Please stop, hindi na nakakatuwa ang ganon.
