    FILIPINOS are GREAT IMITATORS but this is a THROW UP issue. It SUCKS and NO ONE! as in… is interesting to watch this. (like I LUV Betty La Fea ) A Filipino version (actually the weather in the Philippines is warm but the clothes is really INAPPROPRIATE (maybe they think about it). Hey guys don't get hate to the Artists of TAKIPSILIM. Like some, they are just doing their jobs. But the face of the Guy in the remake (TAKIPSILIM) is LOATHSOME… A ERrr.

    Did you (or anyone) see that page from ABS-CBN's site proclaiming the news about Takipsilim? Because anyone can say that 'this page was here before and then they (ABSCBN) took it out.' Because that would be a good excuse on not posting the link as a proof, right?

    I have nothing against ABS-CBN remaking Twilight (although I would suggest that they change some of the cast). If ever that was true, at least ABS-CBN did "buy" the rights. Hindi naman siguro "nakakahiya" kung bumili sila ng rights. Binili nga eh. woot Unlike Diablo Cody (writer ng movie na "Juno"). She's an American, nananalo ng Oscars, pero super kopya ng plot ng isang Korean Film (Jenny, Juno). Hindi nya binili ang rights or nilagay man lang sa credits. woot

    And besides, I think "Twilight" isn't that much of a good film, anyway (apart from Rob Pattinson). Malay nyo,mas maganda pala ang special effects na kayang gawin ng ABS-CBN. Most of the films (and TV Series) in Hollywood are remakes, rip-off… etc. So why deny the right for Filipinos to do the same? If they can "buy" the "rights," right? ^_^

    But the bottomline is, HINDI NAMAN DAW IRE-REMAKE.

    So wala na sanang issue pa.

      You have got to be kidding me. Special effects my foot. Whether they bought the rights or not isn’t the issue (heck, if they did then why the cover up then?).

      Are we really devoid of any creative impulses that we can’t create original IPs. Same with our music scene that is flooded with cover songs.

      are you kidding me? have you even SEEN “JUNO” or “JENNY, JUNO”?? I’ve seen both and the only thing similar in the plot is the teenage pregnancy storyline. Don’t tell me every teenage pregnancy storyline is a ripoff of Jenny, Juno?! That is just ridiculous!

      “Juno” is the name of a guy in Jenny, Juno. In Juno, the girl is named Juno. Geeez. Diablo Cody stated that she never even heard of the film before!

      Do your research before bashing my favorite film ok?!!

    why they don't try(abs-cbn)to remake the twilight movie to a filipino version.in fact when i heard the rumor regarding on takipsilim,i felt so proud because i'm a solid kapamilya so that i tried to write the filipino version of the said movie.as a matter of fact i'm through on the chapter1 and 2.so im pleasing the abs-cbn to make true the rumor because we do not know what's GMA thinking when they heard the news that kapamilya network denied.it's all about time.

      I’m sorry but I fail to see what’s to be proud of when a station is getting their panties in a bunch trying to ride the coattails of an otherwise average but successful film. I don’t doubt for a moment that ABS-CBN have the financial muscle to buy the rights of that movie but with all that disposable money, can’t they just use it to create an original show?

      I pray to god that GMA won’t pull the same stunt. They should learn from their competitor’s mistake instead.

      I’m neither a kapuso nor a kapamilya. I think intelligent, creative, exciting and original programming from both stations have long gone extinct. Sorry if I offend anyone, it’s just my opinion.
