Back to School

Classes will resume tomorrow, the 7th of January 2009 for the Students of the Philippine Women’s College of Davao. I’m on the last three-month stretch before I can walk up the stage and take the diploma with open hands and a crafty smile, yet I still have to work a bit hard to get there.

Blogging won’t be set to hiatus, I will keep the blog updated. My other writers have confirmed that they won’t be able to contribute any further on this blog, so it will be up to myself now to get this blog back going. I have posted my new years resolution already, but that does not sums up everything that I am up for the year 2009, there are still plenty of ideas on my mind that I need to translate into actions.

But before I retreat back from my exposure this Holiday Season, I want just to share a few projects that are ready to go for 2009.

The Student Blogger project has been cancled by the way, and the domain name is now for sale, even if it’s totally undeveloped, it still makes some sense. Don’t you think so?

2008 was an awesome year, I had my struggles, I had my success, I had a slice of almost everything that I could think of, but the hardest problem is to keep the momentum going in 2009. A lot of readers have left, a lot of readers stopped commenting, our posts are becoming lousy and the interaction decreased. As I will be spending more time studying for the next few weeks, I’ll try to share whatever I have learned in class through this blog. Instead of setting up a different blog for educational purposes, I believe that sharing the information here, where I have started sharing other educational tips before.

Whilst I am here struggling with the blog on how to get going, another thought that comes to my mind is setting a specific post limit per day and certain time that I will spend online. Now, having a girlfriend makes my schedule even more hectic, not to forget all the plurking, twitting and other social stuff that I am doing everyday. I can’t handle all of that, but I will narrate you each single step I take towards a more organized and interesting blog as this will open up the blogging tutorial perspective of Pinoy Teens.

As much as I love to share Mp3s with you, I cannot do so because it is considered piracy of which I am pretty much against, instead, lyrics of your favorite songs and artists is the best and the least that I could do for the music lovers. Would that be something that you are looking forward to?

Featured Teens is updating too slow? Or are we just too lazy to get someone nailed for a little interview? Being a featured teen here is very easy and more information will be handed over soon as I will revamp that feature of our website and do it something like, Teen of the Week. We’re not yet through with the first week and there might possibly be one to be out within the next three or four days.

Loving WordPress is pretty easy when you know how to make use of the code and the functions. The flexibility of this blogging tool is exceptional, but not everyone is blessed with the patience to scan the whole codes and look for whatever they intend to apply to their blog. Whilst there are a lot of resources, just like WP Recipes, I will do my very own here as a WordPress Tutorial Section. Where I will share to you only the most vital tips, tricks and plugins as well as themes that you as a WordPress User can make use of.

Entertainment? We’ll be having a lot of that. Especially now as I will be getting a separate blog page for all the entertainment stuff that I share with you. 

It sounds pretty much for a little teenager like me, yet I have reached even beyond these tasks at some point in my blogging life in 2008, that was also something that I did on my own. And I will just get back to whever I have been in my own means and ways and you shall be the witnesses of my journey through 2009 in the blogging world, as Pinoy Teens will be the only blog that I will be worrying about for now.

Of course, the supporting blogs, or sub blogs, whichever sounds better for you are also there, giving you niche specific articles about pictures and about videos. More will be added soon as I will be heading back to my very own dedicated server ones the money pops in from my secret project.

This would be all for now that I can tell you about. This is how 2009 will look like for Pinoy Teens. The blogging trio which splitted to a single person again, me alone who will try my best to blog at best, improve my sloppy writing style and interact with his readers and other bloggers on their respective sites. I have been alerted by a lot of new sites slowly rising and establishing themselves on the blogoshpere as I am facing the ground and realized me falling. Let’s see if I can make it up again
