Smiling Face by Venus Jupiter and Moon

A phenomenom has packed the whole Philippines and the whole Asian side of the Globe by a great “happy impact”, the heavens from above smiled upon us here in the east, while the United States and other western nation will see the inverted symbol.
The planets Jupiter and Venus closed in along with the earth’s only lone satellite, which we know as our moon forming a smile. It’s not that often that we see heaven smiling upon us.
The news spread first via a news site from Australia earlier and took the whole world wide web by a charge, in a positive way, well, in a positive way for the people around us here in the Philippines and the Philippine Blogoshpere side of things.
It’s a phenomenon to occur only once in 48 years and a lot of us are lucky to witness this event; especially on the first of December of this Holiday Month.
From the heavens point of view:
Moon on the Right; Jupiter on the Top Left; Venus on the Bottom Left
It must have been an awesome view from above the sky, but let’s get back to the grund and see this smiling moon phenomenon from the human point of view instead.

Yes saw it yesterday evening in Mumbai while commuting back home in the evening. It looked marvellous in a clear sky and brought out a smile in me obsessed with the non-stop live show of terrorism in the city !!
yeah that was amazing. Seems superstitious brains have been set aside. thats another amazing phenomenon in this part of the globe.

Yeah! I saw it!! It was really nice!! I was bringing my camera that time but I didn’t take a photo of it. I thought that it was just a normal event… But anyways, I still saw it, so lucky me.

we saw it last night, but the moon was inverted as a spotlight shining on 2 stars – I did’t take it as a frown.

We saw the moon and planets but from New York it didn’t appear as a smiling face, the moon was above the 2 planets but they were crystal clear and beautiful! Your pictures are great.
and, to make it even more enjoyable for me it was my birthday, a special gift!
Indeed, it was a special gift to all birthday celebrants that day, and a nice kick off to this month of Holidays :p

Well, in NY it was a smiling face but instead of 2 eyes over the face the planets could be dimples underneath the smile. Our view was nowhere near as interesting as yours!
But at least you saw a smile and not a frown that many people predicted for the US

I was excited to witness the smile in Bangkok just and managed to take some nice photos. It was a special day for the Thai people also. Hope that this will brings peace to all countries.
