Colegio de San Juan de Letran or CLSJ Knights had to take a 63-65 2 point deficit against Arch Rivals San Beda College or the SBC Red Lions. The Knights took care of the game, the score and everything else you could think of for the first couple of quarters. With Jazul leading them with vital confidence boosting triples all throughout the game.

The lead that they have build on in the first quarter was quite impressive, so was their over all performance of the game, but it was all just not enough. The Red Lions played a very well game. Even the second unit of the Beda Squad was able to hinder the Lions from scoring in the crucial third quarter as the scores came closer, and the gap eventually patched up in the 4th.

Letran had it all, but they continued shooting from beyond the arc and continued to miss. Even though a couple of shoots made it to the basket, and even though the San Beda Team had a bad day from the line, the game was simply not meant for them.

It was a one against almost everyone at the big dome. JRU Students, DLSCSB Students, and students from other schools cheered for the San Beda Team, whilst the only accompaniment that the Letran Knights had where their own students, and none else.

The heat is boiling up in the NCAA 84. The finals are closing in. Who will take the the title this year? Watch out.
