De La Salle draws UE

UE appeared to be the most competitive squad at the end of the first quarter, but that impression was not meant to remain too long as the Green Archers took charge of the game from the 2nd quarter onwards. Despite the absence of Simon Atkins, the De La Salle Green Archers managed to take control of the ball game until the final whistle. Franz and Dindo share the elimination with a game won and lost against each other.

It was UE who took the joyful victory over De La Salle as their final assignment for the first round, but it was De La Salle to bounce back as their first assignment of the second round. Thus, the defeat of the University of the East will pull the Archers a notch higher, and closer to their arch rivals the Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles who are yet to face their fierce enemy FEU Tamaraws, the only team which managed to constrain the Eagles from a victory during last week’s Thursday Thriller.

Will the Blue Eagles bounce back like the Archers bounced back against the Red Warriors? Or will FEU take charge of the game against the Eagles back to back? Let’s see what happens, this coming Saturday.
