Where will I put this wap.amob.com@80.232.117.10:80? I can’t see the options “shadow connect” and the options specified on the instructions? I think those options are only available in s60 phones.

SE k750 po gamit ko ok nmn. kya lang paminsan minsan nageeror bigla (cant read from socket, IOException, etc), pero ok parin
pero problema ko po ung downloading. kc pag nagddl ako ng say pics, naddwnload nmn successfully, kya lang pag titignan k na ung pic 0×0 pix nmn tas less than 1kb pa (900+bytes lang ata).
May pede po ba gawin para makadownload ng tama?

Yah, me too! Hindi ako makapagdownload ng kahit ano! Laging error! Pero pag Opera Mini 4.1 gamit ko eh nakakapagdownload ako kaso may bayad ang browsing. Hindi pwedeng iconfigure ang network settings sa Opera Mini 4.1.

Is there someone who tested this on Smart? I haven’t tried it yet pa eh. Can you try it guys? Just change the Address to Connect to wap.smart.com.ph and the Server to 10.102.61.46. I think it will work. Hehehe!

Uncheck the box which is labeled “Reset of a server at an error” kasi pag checked un eh babalik sa 80.232.117.10:80 ung Opera Mini Server. Kelangan palagin wap.amob.com@80.232.117.10:80 ung Opera Mini Server.
@Beau - You need to install the Opera Mini 2.06. It will not work on other versions. Basta version 2 lang siya magwowork. Actually the version 2.06 is a Russian hacked mod of Opera Mini. Ok nga kasi may tabned browsing unlike sa Opera Mini 3.1, 4.1 and other versions.
@hackarowny - It should work on Sony Ericsson K750i. Check mo ulet ung settings. Make sure that 2.06 ung version ng Opera Mini. Eto pa ung isang settings na kailangan mo tingan. Make sure that the checkbox labeled “Reset of a server at an error” is unchecked. It should always be wap.amob.com@80.232.117.10:80.
@K750er - Yah, minsan may error pero ok na rin. It depends kasi sa connection kung malakas ang signal eh. Hehehe! Me too, I have problems when downloading. Laging error din eh. Ayaw makumpleto ung download pero nakakapadownload naman ako kapag default browser ng phone ko ung gamit ko.

@Ryann - yah, kelangan activated ang GPRS mo. just send GO N5610 to 2951 para mreceive mo ung settings ng GPRS sa phone mo.

De@sergie - You will receive the network security error message if the ADDITIONAL checkbox is checked or if the program permissions for the Local Connectivity is not allowed. You can try to turn off the Connection Security as well. Ano bang unit ng phone mo? Kung Sony Ericsson gamit mo eh check mo lang PERMISSIONS nung Opera Mini.

@watzupfoo - Sa settings lang po ang problem nyan, try to look for the Connection Security option sa Internet Profiles or Data Communication settings. Try to turn it off or you can also check the Permissions for the Opera Mini program. Check the options like Local Connectivity or Allow Internet Access. I’m not sure on the exact option but most likely ganon ang mga options. You can try deleting all Internet Profiles then re-download it. Actually for the Opera Mini Network Settings, the most Important settings to change are Shadow Connect that should be checked, Address to Connect which is http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp but you can change it to any site but the best one to make sure is http://www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp, then the Opera Mini Server which is wap.amob.com@80.232.117.10:80, and lastly the Reset of a Server at an error na dapat ay unchecked. The Server, Port, Username and Password options ay pwede ng blank kasi unchecked naman ung Additional na checkbox dapat eh.
Guys, update for the settings: You can leave the Server and Port blank kasi unchecked naman ung Additonal checkbox eh. Make sure that the “Reset of a server at an error” checkbox is unchecked kasi babalik un sa 80.232.117.10:80 kapag may error kaya dapat laging wap.amob.com@80.232.117.10:80 ang Opera Mini Server.
@K750er - You’re welcome dude! Hehehe! Dun nalang tau magdownload sa native browser kahit may bayad. Ang mahalaga eh nakakapagbrowse tau ng libre, hehehe! Don’t worry I’ll keep you updated if may nadiscover akong technique so that we can download na for free using Opera Mini. I’m still trying to figure out nga eh. Hehehe, play around also with the Download Settings dude. Baka kaw ang makadiscover, hehehe!

@renzie - No load required. Kahit zero load it will work. Ako mayroon pang 0.68 load, hindi pa rin nawawala. Hehehe!
You can try installing the application on your N6020 and if it will successfully install, configure it. But I think it will not work eh. Basta try mo lang then follow the settings. Read the thread also kasi may mga updates sa settings.

1. Check the box that is labeled “Shadow Connect”
2. The “Address To Connect” textbox should contain the value “www.globe.com.ph/globe.asp”
3. The “Opera Mini Server” textbox should contain the value “wap.amob.com@80.232.117.10:80″
4 .Uncheck the box that says “Reset of a server at an error”
Note: Don’t mind the other settings. Eto lang kelangan mo iconfigure.

@Ryann - Just go to the Globe Svcs+ menu then open Prepaid Svcs. Click mo ung GPRS Settings option. If it will not work, just manually configure it. Go to http://customerservice.globe.com.ph/bmw/servlet/ViewItem?id=217.

Step 1: Select the download link from the site you are visiting (this may be a pic, or a link to a file). Important, the link must be a direct link to the file. Ung tipong pedeing i-right click tas “save link as” pag sa PC.
Step 2: Press 1 on your phone (shortcut po ito ng download)
Step 3: Edit the URL (eto po ung nagpapakita ng download link)
Step 4: Delete the “www.” of the URL and replace with “wap.amob.com@”
Example:
dati: “http://www.photos.com/pic1.jpg”
pagka-edit: “http://wap.amob.com@photos.com/pic1.jpg”
Step 5: Pag ok na, select “Menu” then “Download”. YEY!!!

@joven - Yah gagana yan. Akin nga eh 2.00 lang pero gumagana. Check mo muna settings. Gagana yan kahit hindi 3g phone gamit mo basta mainstall mo lang ung application pero check ko rin.

Anyway, sure magpost ka ulet then join ulet kami sa forum. Paano po ba magregister dito? Alam mo na ba ung free Internet browsing din using sa Smart. Tinry ko kaso nauubos din ang piso after a couple of hours. Nagtry ako ng mga other proxy settings sa Internet profiles ko pero nababawasan pa din pag sa Smart. Anyway, basta create ka forum para masaya. Hehehe!

@K750er - Hehehe, yah free MMS talaga. Actually you don’t need to configure any settings. Basta kelangan mo lang magtira ng load na below piso tapos yun na un. Enjoy sending MMS to different networks. To prove, send ka ng MMS sa sarili mo. Ako ng hanggan ngayon 0.05 parin ang load and unlimited MMS parin ako. Pwede ka rin magsend sa emails.

meron na ako ng version 2.06 at nainstall ko na. pero pag nagtetest ako ng network doon sa introduction, ayaw nia. wala daw akong active connection. tatry kong ierase lahat, sige. pero natry ko na un, ayaw talaga. pag ba pinerform ung test, ung mga default settings paren or ieedit ko na agad ung settings den saka ako magtetest? 6600 lang ung phone ko, kaya nga tinatanung ko kung pwede ba un kahit hindi sa phone na 3g. sorry sa abala ha. hahaha. thanks na din. nainggit kasi ako dun sa nakasakay ko sa lrt, nagagamit nia to. haha.
@joven - Baka naman mahina ang signal. Minsan kasi matagal makaconnect. Nung unang ininstall ko yan eh nagtagal din ako. Basta try deleting all the internet profiles first then redownload mo ung settings. Basta wala ka ng babaguhin sa default settings ng phone mo. Ung network settings lang ng opera mini ang kelangan ko iconfigure.

@noize - Sabi meron daw. Nabasa ko sa ibang forums na meron daw. Tinry ko iconfigure sa Smart kaso nagbabawas din eh. Actually same configuration din sa Smart. Palitan mo lang ung address to connect ng wap.smart.com.ph, then start browsing if piso na lang load mo. Ilang oras ka din makakapagbrowse tapos magiging zero balance ka na ulet.

@dave - Un lang po ung technique na alam ko so far eh. Ano po bang unit ng phone mo? Check mo ung settings. Baka problem na yan sa Java settings ng phone mo kaya laging Java error. Reinstall mo ung Opera Mini. Check mo ung Internet profile na gamit mo sa Java applications.

@K750er - For free sending of MMS, make sure below piso nalang ang load. Tapos make sure activated MMS settings ng phone mo. Punta ka sa http://www.sonyericsson.com/support tapos idownload mo ung MMS settings ng K750i mo. Ung akin nakakapagsend at nakakareceive kahit wala na ko load.
