Davao Under Water?

I was excited for my first day of class this morning (I’m not kidding, I really was excited), until I received the sad news that classes have been canceled, major Universities and Colleges in Davao City; including Ateneo de Davao High School and Grade School, as well as Philippine Womens College of Davao and several others have suspended class due to the intensive rainfall earlier this morning at around 2 in the morning.

Major part of Metro Davao stood under water, Maa, Matina (McArthur Highway), Juna Sub and other places have been flooded. According to my source this is the reason why major classes have been suspended. Whilst Colleges like Broken Shire and other schools are have their classes going on. @_@
