The Much Awaited Comeback

The comeback of the year is nearing, Pinoy Teens will again, over and over again, open its discussion portal to the world wide web. But this time, trust me, I’m prepared. We have launched the whole community in 2007, June the 30th. We’ve fallen apart in November as our hosting got canceled. Another restart took place in January, wherein I had no internet connection for more than a month, and the latest shutdown which was just a couple of weeks ago.

I, myself has experienced a lot of happy, joyful, and weary moments with the Pinoy Teens Online Community. I, myself has witnessed it grow over time, and vanish because of the unfortunate fate our site has experienced. But, I’ll do what ever I can do, to bring back the community once known. If some of you can still remember, as we where still known as Pasaway Kingdom; we won in most likely all competitions on other forums, because of the activity and participation of everyone, though we where only a small community and the competitors clearly outnumbered us.

At present, I know no competitor of ours, but 2 websites. One of them which keeps on telling negative about Pinoy Teens whilst being a pitiful website on their own, and the other one, another website which is a notch ahead of us; already. I said days back, that we are a non-competitive organization, and a neutral website open-minded, and ready to take everyone’s views and feedback, but that won’t be applicable anymore once the forum gets launched again. We will compete, and try our best to shine among the other forums, and be the best among them. We’ll play it fair and square though, unlike other people are doing, saying negative about your competition won’t help you; what comes around, goes around. And that’s a solid concept I rely on.

Hopefully, you our dear readers will come over to the forum and join us when we open up our doors again, whilst I hope that the loyalist will rejoin the community and be active again. Everyone’s participation is very welcomed and appreciated. And also needed, in order to reach the objective that we want to reach.

For those who have been asking why Pinoy Teens vanished again a few weeks ago, the problem was the hosting, our hosting that time totally s**cked, that’s why I had to discontinue the project for the mean time, and concentrate on earning money, for a latter more successful discussion board, which I’ll hope will be the next one that we will open.

As always, we’ll be using a traditional SMF 1.x.x series, but this time a stand alone version with no tiny portal, since we have the blog here already. I won’t add many add-ons, I hope that the quality and happy discussion can replace the missing features that I won’t be applying to keep the server load very low and minimal, so that more users can browse the board at the same time. For the meanwhile, I’ll be adding a chat box (premium version) to the forum, which I hope you’ll make use of and like it. But after a week or so when I come to figure out the little mistake that I have committed with the other shoutbox that comes via a SMF package, I’ll apply that one for better user experience.
